Sorry, it is a shame that Favaro will be playing for the Weegies during his rest week between 6 nations games, especially as Italy are playing England next.

Why? Glasgow have no obligation to give him a week off. Why would they?

I know they don't. I just don't like it.

Who covers 10? Looks like it'll be Thompson, he seemed to appear out of nowhere.

It is, he played Fly half for the Stormers(and is over here on a short term loan)

Can we not just make Stormers the third pro team? It's a great place to watch rugby.

It would make far more sense for you to turn your disdain towards the IRF and their pathetic attempt at domestic pro rugby - playing a brand of rugby that died out a decade ago. Maybe Favaro would have been able to progress his career in Italy and would be rested and looked after.

This is exactly why British & French clubs buy players who do not qualify for their home nation.

He gets very well looked after here. And maybe, just maybe he wants to play.

I should hope he does want to play. As I'd hope every player would.

Glasgow not quite at the races today but dare I say it? They are playing better, sensible phase by phase rugby with Horne at 10.... I think they scored after about 23 phases in the Ulster half, constantly grinding them down. Don't see that too often with Finn at the helm.

It's not the first time he's done it. Is Allan not the one who scored under the posts against the Drags earlier this year?

Very, very good player IMO along with Rae.

Yeah, I quite like Horne at 10. Would have him as back up over Weir. No where near the level of Russel though and Id say building momentum over the phases is one of Glasgow's real strengths so dont know where you're getting that from

Yeah, Glasgow never work big number phases and score with Russell at FH

Glasgow team out. Someone else can post it but looks very very young. Hopefully, we'll look back and see this an important learning stage for a few but I'd be impressed if we get anything out of the game
