Re: Trump
He really is an odious cockwomble.
I sincerely hope he is pushed for an explanation on his Sadiq Khan comments.
He won't be though. He Tweets crap, dodges most of the criticism about it (in the sense he won't answer questions about it and gets his staff to bullshit their way through it), gets away with it and it becomes a fact to many.
What a cwnt.

Re: Trump
He is having another dig at Khan as reports of multiple shooting fatalities in Forida come in. He has also tweeted for the record that his immigration executive order is effectively a ban on travel for listed countries. This is due to go to court and his mong ramblings could easily constitute grounds for evidence of race and/or religious discrimination (i.e. unconstitutional). He is the thickest cunt in all the lands of the world.

It was a video statement... there is no debate as to what was said...

I suspect not, but he's going to find it fecking difficult getting in and out of Buck House without passing through Greater London.caldeyrfc wrote:I know that there is a standing invitation for Trump to have a state visit later in the year. Is it possible to cancel it?

Has a visting US President even been faced by demonstrations by British citizens, in London, on a State visit cosSerjeantWildgoose wrote:I suspect not, but he's going to find it fecking difficult getting in and out of Buck House without passing through Greater London.caldeyrfc wrote:I know that there is a standing invitation for Trump to have a state visit later in the year. It should happen. Buckets of pig shit should be flung at him and it should be LOndoner's mission in life to make his visit as big a ball-ache for him as possible.

I have seen some early proofs for the banners that will adorn the lamp-posts on The Mall.

Re: Trump
I think we all know why Phil the Greek retired shortly after the state visit was announced... should HRH do likewise? let's say whilst he's in the air en route. Make him visit with Charlie, who he wants banned from his itinerybelgarion wrote:Has a visting US President even been faced by demonstrations by British citizens, in London, on a State visit cosSerjeantWildgoose wrote:I suspect not, but he's going to find it fecking difficult getting in and out of Buck House without passing through Greater London.caldeyrfc wrote:I know that there is a standing invitation for Trump to have a state visit later in the year. Thing is he and the alt media that worship him would love things to be thrown at him it what they can spin. What I would like to see is as he drives past people turn their backs to him the symbolism of a wave of people turning their backs to him as he is driven up The Mall is much better than a couple of people being arrested for throwing a cow pie at him

Would be nice if May and, or Downing Street responded to the attack on Khan. Trump needs to back down and offer an apology.

Bit like when the Burma Star Association veterans turned their backs on Akihito. Agreed. Dignified, silent yet spoke volumes.caldeyrfc wrote:Thing is he and the alt media that worship him would love things to be thrown at him it what they can spin. I don't think Trump would understand that kind of dignified response. Besides, he's probably had the windows in the presidential vehicles converted to mirrors.

Re: Trump
Accidentally clicked on this, then for some reason couldn't stop watching. This woman is unbelievable.
Watch at around two minutes if you fancy clawing your eyes out, 6 minutes 30-ish if you want to see her at maximum eloquence. It really ends on a great note too.
Has May really not had a word to say about Trump v Khan? Maybe I missed it.

I've not seen Sarah Sanders before, I can't say it's heartening, but damn she's good and will no doubt fully replace Sean's Show as the Spicy one isn't close to as good, even if good in this instance entails refusing to acknowledge the premise of a question and even refusing to acknowledge reality

Sarah Huckabee Sanders is Mike Huckabee's daughter. She is a smart cookie and does very well filling in for Spicer when he is on Naval Reserve Duty.
It is usually futile to try to talk facts and analysis to people who are enjoying a sense of moral superiority in their ignorance.

I can't tell if you're being serious. I'm assuming nobody would consider her smart due to anything seen in this video?Coco wrote:Sarah Huckabee Sanders is Mike Huckabee's daughter. She is a smart cookie and does very well filling in for Spicer when he is on Naval Reserve Duty.

Re: Trump
She appears smart when compared to Spicer, but then again, hedges appear smart next to Spicer.
I've seen Sanders do a couple of press briefings. She clearly has more natural ability than Spicer to remain calm, but as first glance, you could be forgiven for thinking it was another SNL piss take.
For all his power, money and clout, Trump is still unable to surround himself with intelligent people.
