Sarries really are special when they turn it on. Fair play to weeg for doing their best. It they could easily be 4 try's down.

Yep. Just stuck in their own half. I can't say I'm seeing the control or experience that you'd demand Pyrgos offers to justify starting ahead of Price.

It was always going to be a huge ask. Fair fucks to the Weeg for getting there.

It was really hard to listen to Barnes and Co today. I get that Sarries played well, but they were so in the damn bag for them it was sometimes hard to listen to.

Finn is a wonderful talent, but those two missed penalty kicks to touch just aren't good enough. I hope he develops that last 10% of game control.

For 60 mins Glasgow really really stuck at it hard, but it's no shock that they wound up just short.

Target next year must be a home QF.

It was an impossible task to beat Sarries tbh. They are the best in Europe and it showed but Glasgow should have done much better. Frankly very surprised to see a 50/50 possession stat, felt like Sarries did all the running and Glasgow didn't play much rugby at all but it wasn't for a lack of effort. They didn't leave anything on the pitch.

I thought Russell & Pyrgos totally failed to show up today but there were excellent performances from the front row, Brian, Wilson, Jones & an excellent defensive one from Hogg. I thought the game was crying out for Hogg to run more of those kicks back as Sarries were very happy to sit back and field the kick returns.

Having said that. Great day out in the sun. Both sets of fans were great, superb set-up and the Glasgow fans did their team proud. I would imagine there were at least 6000 Scots there today.

Blimey. Glasgow are building quite a set of backs for next season - mostly SQ too.

I dunno, it seems we're far to often likely to snap up players who are down in England showing promise rather than waiting til they make some sort of decent breakthrough. The irish often let younger players go abroad then bring them home once they really force their hand.

He's at Bath... He will be 3rd choice and will get no meaningful game time.

Plus there is a real dearth of Scots 10s that are regularly playing. If he's been signed as second choice at the weeg he will come along much quicker.

He's not likely to make a breakthrough at Bath. He's behind Ford (who's being directly replaced iirc) and Priestland, the latter won't be troubling the welsh selectors on a regular basis. Up here it's Finn and Horne, both away for likely every international and with proper rests in between. Hastings will be much better placed to show his worth, and if he does he'll already be under contract here rather than coming with a much higher price tag from daan saarrff.

And who are all these young irish players who go to seek their fortune before their inevitable glorious return?
