England win but we look clunky and disjointed.

Typically Kiwi. Comes onto the EMB pretending to talk about the England match but, instead, endlessly bangs on about how a ref robbed the All Blacks.cashead wrote:England have certainly gone through the motions, never looking at all troubled during the pool stages. Australia on the other hand, have made hard work out of every fixture they've had (except for the loss against Wales, where the Welsh seemed to have a hard time keeping their foot on the Wallabies' collective, figurative throat after it seemed like they'd run away with the game initially).
The Wallabies are capable of winning this, but that's only when everything goes their way (case in point Perth, where Scott Barrett got sent off, and Garces spent the rest of the game letting them get away with murder at the rucks, and giving them sweetheart calls here and there like awarding them 30m of territory to score off of when they knocked on), but in all honesty, this is quite possibly the worst Wallabies team since the game went pro. They might get lucky again, since that worthless cunt is reffing the game, but I think England will just be too much for them.

And he hasn't even mentioned Wayne Barnes.Mellsblue wrote:Typically Kiwi. I've really struggled to get into this world cup for that reason.twitchy wrote:It's way too early for this shit it isn't even light yet.
Same. It just doesn't feel like a world cup to me.JellyHead wrote:I've really struggled to get into this world cup for that reason.twitchy wrote:It's way too early for this shit it isn't even light yet.
This, and I have no will to drink at 8am, which sucks now that we're in the knockouts as there's nothing to kill the nerves!WaspInWales wrote:Same. There have been some great matches too, it just hasn't had that buzz in between games for me.
Are you joking that it's been done a lot, or actually serious?Mellsblue wrote:If someone could put the titanic theme tune to the footage in this twatter post I’d be eternally grateful.

The was a lovely interview in the times about him battling his temper. How it stems from his upbringing - predominantly no father figure - and how he’s conscious that he needs to sort it for his teammates and to be a good role model for those who are growing up in the same situation as he did.twitchy wrote:Remember when kyle was was a bit of a liability. Now he is one of the first names on the team sheet. Great management. Watch him physically destroy a much larger man with his strength in the scrum.
They tried to wind him up after he lost the first one:
I love that moment (in retrospect - fwcking hated it at the time) as they rubbed his head, patted his cheek, put hands in his face, and did everything but shove their fingers up his nose to try and get a rise. Not only did Sinckler not react, but Itoje was straight in there, removing him from the situation and giving the Aussie a little shove to reaffirm to Sinckler that they had his back as the team came round him.twitchy wrote:Remember when kyle was was a bit of a liability.
