6. Curry
7. Underhill
8. Willis
20. Earl *a different role
Given that we're playing a 10 man game and Swollen Bunting is likely to keep with Farrell @ FH (meaning the backs won't see the ball very often) - maybe Earls could play on the wing? It's not like he's going to mess up all of our silky running rugby. He's quite quick and it effectively gives us an extra forward...

The Nowell role? It’ll never work, he’s too rapid. But we could train him up to fill the May role as an emergency flanker.

On a different note I’d have liked to have seen more of Ribbans in this tournament - he’s our biggest lock and his carrying and offloading would have a been pretty handy and possibly a step up on Chessum (no slouch in this area himself) ?
He's off to France and he and Borthwick have fallen out. Plus he has a chronic bad back and can't train much.

I imagine that anyone with a knock, who would play if it were the final, has been left behind. That's the only explanation for the lack of Martin, Mitchell, etc.

Some young quick legs in there, though surprised no Martin after last week, esp. with the RG forward set.
Suppose Soapy Bubble adhering to his win selection thing with Manu over Lawrence (just), but the latter needs a run to build his confidence if nowt else.
I should think Martin was a bit battered.
Martin has a knee injury according to the Leicester website.

Hopefully only a minor one that wasn't worth risking for the pointless match. I want to see him and Chessum forging a partnership for Leicester this season.
