"According to reports, meanwhile, former Scotstoun favourite Niko Matawalu has been training with Glasgow as a free agent after the Fiji scrum-half left Exeter in the summer."

Apparently.......

I'd say Pyrgos is already 4th choice. He must be very concerned atm.

I reckon Matawalu will see ,ore time on th wing this season than at scrum half but what a great option to have in your squad.

It would be nice if he returned to fitness and form, though do recall that sometimes he was more of a liability than an asset in his last season with Glasgow.

Yeah. I think he'd lost that unknown factor as oppositions got to... well know him

Cant help but be delighted with that. Not particularly what they need and some concerns re playing time for Horne but who doesnt want to watch him try stuff.

I wouldnt be averse to Pyrgos moving through to Edinburgh if he is up for it

Looking forward to watching this. Keen to see Kebble play for Glasgow. Have only seen him from afar - he looks like a bit of a unit.

Hopefully Hastings gets a wee run as well. Lots of forwards on the bench!

Cummings and Swinson sounds like a great lock combo.

That s a young looking team. Rennie not afraid to play the, it seems. Turner gets to double his number of starts which is good, hope he seizes the chance.

In a bizarre turn of events it appears that Favaro doesn't have a professional club. He's contracted to the italian police federation rugby team (semi pro) according to his twitter...

His former team mates will be relieved that they don`t have to play against him this season.. (So far..)

Glasgow look poorer now Horne has moved to 12 and Hastings on at 10. Lots of effort from Hastings but poor execution.

Really miserable conditions. Glasgow playing into a howling gale at the moment.

Why the f*ck does Hastings pass like that? I appreciate its pissing down with rain but throwing wonky passes will just make it harder for them to successfully catch the ball...

One of Price's box kicks just went backwards... The wind looks so bad. I think Connacht are wary that this lead may not be enough in the second half.

All things considered, Weeg will be quite happy to go in 3 points down.

Or 6... some idiotic decision making there, no need to give away that last pen.

Shame about the last penalty. But still, only six points in it is not bad given the weather and the amount of ball Con had.

Price has been caught a few times by the scruff of his shirt - lack of match sharpness?

Glasgow still have that magic. What a brilliant try and the conditions make it even more impressive.

Hastings, Horne and Price. In that run of play I thought Price was Masaga... Price must have had a nice hot holiday somewhere!

Glasgow's own idiocy is letting Connacht back into this. All they have to do is kick downfield and wait for them to screw up...

Brilliant kick and Sarto did amazingly well to collect that, flirt with the touchline only to stay in play, break 1 tackle and ride the other before offloading to Jones to dot down in the corner! Some player.
