Tom petty in July supported by some bloke called Stevie nicks. Finally a trip to jockistan for Deacon Blue at Embra Castle. Summer holidays......
That is an interesting mixture.
I've always thought Foxton was a twat,...but it's him that wrote and sings the Mock the Week song.
I thought Foxton was the dog's cock when I was in 6th Form; I think this cost me several shags. Bruce may have written and taken the lead vocal on News of the World, but the bit they play on Mock the Week is the chorus which is dominated by Weller's vocal.

The Tom Petty/Stevie Nicks duet is getting a big write up in the London press after the Hyde Park gig.
'Don't have to live like a refugee' seems very apt ATM.

I see Kazuo Ishiguro got it this year. I've only read 'Remains of the Day,' which had certain literary merit but was fairly average entertainment. I also watched a low budget (British) film adaptation of Never Let Me Go, which was awful.

I enjoyed both of those books. The Remains of the Day is a very good film, whilst the other one was ok. There again I didn't like La La Land so what do I know.
