Moaning Mourino contd . . . . .

My players are tired
There are too many fixtures
My 5* Hotel is crap
First Class travel is overrated .
Too many of my players are injured
Visiting teams always ' park the 'bus .' in front of goal .
Lots of people don't like me .( Wenger & Ferguson mainly & Chelsea players .
Basically I like to moan , its in my DNA .

The North Sea bubble has burst ( for now..)
All 3 coastal sides from NE (-ish) down the shunky
to the Championship..maybe the fish have gone toxic.
However, the Magpies are going up to keep the flag flying...hopefully they will be more resilient.

Former Newcastle midfielder Cheick Tiote has just passed away in Beijing while training for his current club Beijing Enterprises FC. He was aged 30 and it's likely to have been a cardiac arrest.

That is my 2nd favourite Fast Show skit. Only bettered by 'Hello, we're cockneys, don't you know'.
Actually that must be Harry and Paul......Harry wasn't in the Fast Show.

I saw an interview with Paul Whitehouse where he was explaining why Harry wasn't in the Fast Show.
Harry's ego wasn't well suited to a team effort but Whitehouse explained it was definitely a mutual decision. They wanted Harry,.....but it just wasn't going to work.

A good mate delivered a new mini a few years ago to Paul Whitehouse at his home address . Real nice guy apparently and as funny offscreen as on .

Glasgow Rangers have been knocked out of a mysterious European competition by a Luxembourg works team who have never beaten any team in Euro competitions . Stand by for another new manager . All applications will be taken seriously . Apparently .

So transfer talk:

PSG have just signed Neymar for a record €222million in transfer fees to trigger the buy-out clause, with a total of €450million or so once wages and signing bonuses are taken into account.

Having signed Nemanja Matic from Chelsea, Man United are apparently now in a race with them to sign Gareth Bale. I would not be at all surprised if he's offered a choice of the 11 shirt or the 7.

All this outrageous money being splashed around and yet clubs still charge £60 for a football shirt (£3.50 production cost ) , charge for season tickets and hike food and drink prices up .

Its a mad mad world full of mad mad punters . :o

Personally, I like the new format. It's great seeing fairly evenly matched teams playing for something instead of pointless friendlies.

Think England are continuing to develop under Southgate too. It will take time, but it's clear to see he wants to see us play some football.

He needs some help, though. Creativity in midfield sorely missing and the players who could fill in aren't getting gametime.

Eng / Esp:
Posession 27/73 %
Shots 5/23
Corners 0/12
...Goals 3/2 including a brace from Sterling.
Blimey - could have done with this kind of fortune in the summer.

Scored some good goals last night. Rashford made amends for his misses against Croatia.

Kane was great for a couple of goals, Barkley played well, Dier was very good and there was nowt wrong with that tackle...perfect recipient too! Also thought Maguire's tackle which earned him a yellow was ok too. Really pleased for Sterling. He hasn't done himself justice at times in an England shirt but what a superb strike for his first...more of that please!

We made hard work of it in the second half though. Pickford was very lucky not to give away a penalty.

The Spanish players gave a masterclass in badgering the ref. Whinging bastards. How the fuck there was 7 minutes of added time, I'll never know. They even complained when the ref blew for the final whistle which was after the 7 minutes. They really didn't want to lose to England, but tough shit.

Great win for England, good goals and they were well organised for long periods.

Still much to work on, but amazing result.
