He was made to look like a real muppet on that last Leicester penalty. I can't see how its possible the Touch judge couldn't see that the Tigers player had dropped it forward, and out of the side of the ruck, so either he wasn't paying attention, or failed to speak up when Doyle blew his whistle, to let him know it was scrum ball to Quins.
Yeah, I'd spent the evening shouting at the television about how many rubbish decisions he'd given against Leicester, only for him to entirely fail to see that blatant knock-on at the end and pretty much even things up.

Manu looked rusty and needs game time to get back into the swing of things, but he looked a lot more match-fit than he did on his last comeback. He was an absolute weapon when used simply and I fully expect Eddie to want him for Wales. He might not be quite ready by then, but even at 75%, he's still a massive asset.

A lesson in the all round game.

Nice continuity, poor assistance for JP,...good contest anyway.
Nice to see Croft in a simple bun fight. He needs to play the %.

How long ago is it since Tigers lost three matches on the trot?

They appear to be missing Tom Youngs. I know Ghiraldini's off to Toulouse at the end of the season, but is he really up to the standard required or is he just another of the mediocre Italians?
