Not really. Lol is pretty bad as my post alludes to, I'm merely saying Healy is worse than pretty much anyone (when he isn't talking about what a great player he was). It's just varying degrees of appallingness. But yes on Monye - at least Healy and Lol know what they are talking about.

If the touch judge didn't think he was in touch, then he didn't think he was in touch. He never said to Pearce where the knock on came from in the first half, and corrected Pearce when he gave it to Tigers.

That was a great watch. Too many errors and fluffed chances to be a classic but it was mighty entertaining. Wasps really should have made the game safe by converting a chance or two. Tigers scrum bailed them out after JCW and Mcintyre went off.
Cips is just a delight to watch when Wasps are on the front foot.
Wade really good too. He's improved his defence enormously and seems far more physically robust.
Genge a key player in the Tigers comeback. Great to see him back playing.

Normally I'd scoff, but Ford played terribly today. Hopefully he'll shake off his England experience over the next fortnight and be back to form again.

Tell you who I was impressed with today - Graham Kitchener! Ran hard, hit rucks, tackled well, bounced up off the floor, looked purposeful and dynamic. Mark Bakewell's got to be up there as signing of the season for that kind of turnaround.

Healy and Lol are as bad as each other, it's quite a nice balance in a way.

Eastmond got 2 reds for tackles like that, Lovobalavu got a ban for less. Should have been a red.

Entertaining game so far though, I'm afraid about what's going to happen when tigers actually get a run of possession though.

Can someone tell me if they also think that Robson's passes from the base, to the forwards pods, are often really long? Those forwards are almost already at the edge of the forwards defending close to the ruck (and they can't leave in case Robson breaks). Is it just me noticing it as a wasps supporter, and not for the rest, or is he chucking it further than most (and would that not help England, since in theory it means less competition at the breakdown).

Cips imo stands too far away occasionally, Robsons pass, long as it is, is dying when it reaches him sometimes.

The euphoria has begun to die down on what was a pulsating match which should really have been put to bed by Robson who seemed home and dry in the corner until that wonderful tackle by Mathew Tait! Cipriani was so much better than Ford. Were you watching, Eddie? And Genge seemed to single handedly transform Tigers' pack when he came on. A fabulous match that was so different from the dross served up yesterday at the Olympic Stadium.

....for all that Cips may have looked better than Ford, I note that Tigers won a game on 38% possession and 39% territory. Tigers defence obviously did a great job, especially scrambling, and Wasps did concede almost double the penalties. Its food for thought. Not that I disagree- Wasps do have an entirely different style of play; mind, I don't think Ford was as bad as some have made out, bar two bad passes that were intercepted, one under advantage; Cips was in good nick generally though.

Having watched the opening quarter only all I've really noticed is Wasps have an iffy lineout, the only Wasps forwards physical in contact are JCW and Launchbury, and Wasps keep playing in their own half. I can only trust this improves.

Yup. The utility that caused him trouble when he was playing really pays dividends in terms of commentating and being an opinionated fecker. And he's a laugh.
