I'd like us to field 23 new caps against the All Blacks, to be honest.

That tour is a Kobayashi Maru scenario. Exposing young players to the worst hell they'll ever face is about the only positive thing that can come of it.

Excuse my ignorance but I missed the last round. Was any light cast on how Priestland/Anscombe are supposed to be helping off the bench? It looks like they both came on too late to have any real effect.

I think they wanted to keep the game tight and controlled so kept Biggar on as long as poss. Priestland may be seen is a little more cavalier. With regard to Anscombe, your guess is as good as ours.
