Ah I liked it. I hate the trend of not showing actual gameplay in trailers, all this in game engine shit is pointless nonsense. That said, Dice is about the only company that seems to be able to get close to replicating it's cinematic trailers to the actual game.

Not sure about the horses... I don't want to shoot a fucking horse. Going on how people play the game though, I guarantee that within 10 minutes of its release you'll see someone take out a tank with a horse covered in dynamite.

Tbf it's probably more the fact that they don't show game play that I'm unsure. It's clearly not going to be walking across no man's land and i loved the cod set in ww2.

Here, did you see any of the wildlands stuff coming out of E3? Looked good. Sounds like they aren't going to bother with PvP at all, and just hang the entire game on 4 player co-op.

Fucking Microsoft... Their entire E3 brief seemed to be "reasons why you shouldn't buy an Xbone". Everything is going to run on Windows 10, which is fine I guess, because baws to buying a gaming PC, but they kicked off by announcing the Xbone S, slimed down version of the brick I have, same as the elite 360 I guess, but I've got to wonder who the fuck that is for when they ended their conference by announcing the Bond villain project Scorpio, that's going to be a munch more powerful version of the Xbone. So I'm assuming that by the end of 2017 there will by 3 versions of the Xbox one on the market, all priced between 300 quid and half a grand. Nice one lads.

It looks fucking immense. It is literally the reason I bought the ps4. I've never really classed myself as a gamer but I'm gutted it's not out until March.

My mate is considering buying a ps4 now with all these new xboxes coming out, he's currently got the xbox1. I wonder if Sony saying no to the cross platform facility would be a nail in the coffin for xbox?

Ah yeah, I wouldn't go as far as to say it's a nail in the coffin, it is Microsoft after all, and cross platform would be unlikely to really have any impact on sales on either side, but they have, rightly, had their arses handed to them for this generation of consoles. That won't change. It has done them good to be in a distant second place though. If your mate is looking to sell his Xbone, he'd do well to do it quickly, before the new slim one really hits the market.

Titanfall 2 was weird, I've got the first one and when they showed the multiplayer trailer you'd be forgiven for thinking they were showing the old game. Sure, it looks good, But visually its almost identical. Was surprised at how good they managed to make the single player campaign look though. The biggest problem Titanfall had was, after the initial media driven over the top launch hype, nobody actually arsed to play it. For a multiplayer only game, that's a death sentence.

Don't know if you've played it, but if it's going for cheap on the PS4 give rocket league a go. It's a great laugh.

I can imagine Sony doesn't really give a shit about it though, so it's probably about last in their to do list. It should happen at some point, whether it's this gen or the next though is anyone's guess.

It sounds like the campaign is going to be multiple stories from all over the war, my guess is for the sake of marketing they have shown more of those cats. I'll reserve judgment on it mind you, BF4's campaign was a fucking abortion.

It does look good though.

I'm going to hemorrhage money on games this month. BF1, Titanfall 2, Gears of 4 and I think I'll give the new Forza a tilt. Not a fan of racing games to be honest, but it's hard not to give a game that's reviewing that well a shot.

You been playing anything good recently? I see the pre-order for Wildlands is now up on the marketplace... Thought for a second it meant they had moved up the release date... Had they fuck... March next year. pack of cunts. there should be a law against doing that.

Ha! I got the loathsomely titled "early enlister" thing from EA access, BF1 launched today on the Bone. I'm bias as fuck, but it's very good. Load times are pretty shit, but it's been running very smoothly so far. No doubt now I've typed that EA's servers will take a dump.

There is a forest map that's so well rendered, it's hard to not get shot in the face whilst admiring how pretty Dice managed to make a tree look.

The new operations mode looks great too. Kind of a cross between rush and conquest.

Deffo recommend it.

Aye, that's rush, I loved rush too. Arming MCOMS or some shit. The new conquest style thing is to try and stop people hard scoping a single point, or hosing it with C4 and just waiting... Like a cunt... Also it stops the spamming of indirect fire weapons.

Sounds good. I used to like setting up a mortar and smashing the fuck out of a sniper. It was basically the only way I could get the cunt, it was also a very satisfying way.

So, aye, operations is really good, although make sure you eat before you start, because if you end up with two teams that are equally incompetent as each other, it ends up taking slightly longer than World War 1 did.

Yeah I sometimes forget to do eat, drink and pish for a few hours. Mostly balances itself out.
