So if Horne is fit enough to bench for Glasgow why isn't he benching for Scotland? I'd far rather see him instead of Weir or Lamont (Taylor can always cover wing).

Good to see that we're all expecting a humping though. The pressure is off and now I can relax and appreciate those three points that we're going to get.

Bloody hell you lot are cheery. Is this a symptom of the disappointment from the England game?

It's a symptom of the past decade. False dawns, corners turned etc etc.

I'm massively hungover. Cardiff was strangely quiet last night. Was everyone saving themselves for today?

I'm an exile mate but it is unusual for it to be quiet Friday night before a game. You going presumably? Hope you enjoy (not too much!).

Yeah I'm down for the game. Strange how quiet it was. The Old Arcade seemed like the only busy pub. Queens Vaults was fairly lively too.

I'm staying in Swansea... Was pretty good last night, surprised Cardiff was quiet! Heading over on the train, will be on St Mary's St by 12. Cannot wait but still feeling negative about the result. I'll probably be 100% confident of a win by about 1pm, a six nations day would just feel incomplete without that feeling of crushing disappointment

Have fun all those in Cardiff. Mrs Argus has arranged for us to go out for lunch this afternoon so it's touch and go whether I'll see the whole thing.

Who's on the radio? Davies is irritating me already.

Love seeing Laidlaw felling Falateau.

Damn, he's quick.

No Davies, you didn't say anything. You were too caught up in the moment to do the job you're there to do.

Seven points down and no proper possession yet.

Fuck me. Laidlaw takes 4 minutes and still passes a foot high then the kick goes straight out

Some lovely stuff by Laidlaw. Wales aren't putting men tight to the ruck so there might be plenty of chances to snipe.

Because their 9 is feeding their hooked hasn't had to.l lift his foot so they can defend any shove easier.

Hogg going off is gutting. He had that welsh defence worried and giving that necessary inch of space.

Right, time to actually put a second half performance in during the 6N. We've been here before and it's all gone horribly wrong, time to step up.

I actually think we do ok in the first half because the coach sets a decent game plan. At half-time the opposition adjust but we just don't have enough leaders who are able to do that within the team.

I remember when he was first signed up, he was such a threat from full-back but no-one has ever given him a fair go. His kicking game means that Solomons will only play him on the wing. I'd love to see Kinghorn at ten, Brown at full-back and Tonks on the bench for Edinburgh but it's never happened yet.
