England win by 10 runs.

Superb final two overs from Jordan and Stokes.

Absolute nailbiter!

So, we've probably got NZ in the semis. That is gonna be tough as they've looked excellent.

Unexpected but welcome victory -
Given the conflicting fortunes in the RWC, the Kiwis should be instructed to play a weakened team in the semi.

Windies lose to minnows Afg after already qualifying for the semis...these competitions are great.

India beat Australia with 5 balls to spare in another exciting match.

Kohli smashed four 4s from the penultimate over and that just left 4 required from the final over which took Dhoni just one ball to achieve.

What a performance!

Disappointing about Morgan. That's his second golden duck of the tournament.

Super knock from Roy. Buttler is very much in the mood for this!

Morgan's the only survivor from the 2010 win over Aus, the only 1-day trophy Eng. have ever managed to win I think. They owe Windies one after snatching defeat from the jaws of victory in 2004 at Lords..what a pavlova that was.
Hopefully Gayle won't connect with too many in the final.

The bowlers deserve a lot of credit for yesterday's performance too. To restrict NZ to just 20 runs from the final 4 overs was very impressive.

Should be a good final, been impressed with England but the Windies look tough to me. Having said that, I think England will win it(hopefully).

Now Root has gone. Looks like game over already and there's still over 5 overs left....and the Windies haven't batted yet!

We looked set to easily make 170+ when Root and Buttler were set and now we may struggle to see out the overs. May not even make 130.

It's just not going to be enough.

A boundary....not just a boundary, but a 6 from Willey!

And another from Willey.

131-7 from 17 overs. Could do with a few 15+ overs now!

Balls. He tries to hit another big shot and he's caught in the deep.

WI 156 to win..could have been alot worse for Eng..useful last over.
Just need some accurate bowling & fielding now..& calm heids !

155-9. Not sure that will be enough. The Windies were superb in the field and bowled very well at times, although some of our wickets were coughed up very cheaply.

Need a huge effort with the ball and in the field to win this.
