Thanks for writing these Cas. I don't have much to add myself, but it's a really interesting read.

There's on-going longitudinal studies -- like the Dunedin Study, Growing Up in NZ, and Pacific Island Families -- that will catch some things, but don't think anything specific has been whipped up.
People murder their parents so i don t think it's emotive misinformation to suggest some vile people will pressurise there parent s into eutheniseing themselves
Needs to be serious safeguards in place to prevent horrible shit happening

It's almost as if there's a select committee phase where these sorts of things are discussed and included in the legislation, which you could have looked up in the amount of time it took you to write that asinine bullshit you kramered into this thread with like the sanctimonious dipshit that you are.

go fuck yourself - you are the one who started throwing shit with emotive disinformation as if death isn't an emotive issue
Take a look at yourself when it comes to sanctimonious - you just disparage the other side in your post with misinformation comment....cas is on the right side of this and thats all
The end of life is worth debating srsly

Then do some basic research on the matter, you stupid cunt. The contents of the fucking bill is a publicly available document and is only a google search away.

"A bloo bloo bloo bloo bloo you didn't use the words that I approve of a bloo bloo bloo bloo bloo"
Because heaven forbid anyone refer to "presenting deliberate misinformation couched in terms designed to appeal to emotion" as "emotive misinformation." Can't be havin' that, now can we?

I shall wildly speculate that it can only be Stom's favourite trap porno. Obviously far too wild for anyone outside of Eastern Europe, hence the censorship in Un Zud and 'MURICA.

Ah, sorry guys. It's the new Spitting Image and the section I'd posted was a song about New Zealand I thought was funny. I'll see if I can find it unrestricted.

That is pretty funny to be fair. A better sketch than Trumps arse.

It was funny. Almost as good as the Piri Patel ones.

Lads, it's a fucking bloodbath.
Also, National are losing so hard, they've locked their Twitter.
Seems they won't need the Greens, which is unfortunate and not really how MMP is supposed to work. But at least we'll now get to see how much of the general handbraking was Winnie and how much was Labour itself. I suspect a disappointingly large amount of the latter, unfortunately.

It is unprecedented, and as you said, it's not meant to happen under MMP. Hopefully it'll be a C&S arrangement to keep it at 70+. It'll also be interesting to see what happens with the Maori Party, who look like they've gotten back in via the Waiariki electorate.
