He grew in to the game today as it went on, but his basics look so ropey every time I’ve watched him. Goalkicking was good. But early on there were some duff passes and that terrible lobbed kick straight into Nadolo’s hands. Then a period of taking the ball standing totally still and way too deep, just shovelling it on to the next man.

I’m not trying to make a point of shitting on him, but there were some mistakes today I thought we were very lucky for Leicester not to capitalise on.

Generally, I’ve been pretty critical of Herron. I still think he’s one of the weaker back-up 10s in the league, but I thought he did more good than bad today.

Sounds like a latter day Joe Carlisle.
