:( when you have both Marchant and Care in your fantasy team and Care knocks on over the line from an indecent offload by Marchant.

Heenan a bit unlucky to give the penalty away there, the Quins 12 got away with patting Purdy on the head after his try. Purdy should have gone after him more maybe.

I do like the celebratory shit housing being taken out the game though. Sarries could be conceding a lot of penalties this season.

Will Collier will be talking about that try for the next twenty years.

Murley barely gets a mention compared to Lynagh and Green but he has been absolutely class.

Why aren't we getting any shots of Pat Lam right now?

The first half was good, but the second half has been terrible. It's like they don't care....

They've absolutely imploded at this point.

The 'mental scarring' talk from last year seemed a bit premature but it feels like this game could really do some damage to Bristol.

100% agree. He’s always quietly very good, but tonight he was excellent. Great going forward and that steal when we were under pressure was an important moment.

I’d also call out Dino Lamb’s improvement. I’ll hold my hands up and say I didn’t think he’d ever be first team material, but he’s another who has developed in to a very good asset.

Bristol just had no fight in that final quarter. The wheels came off. They were so good in the first half and then they just didn't come out for the second half.

Quins look pretty lethal when you let them play. That backline really rips holes open and the support runners make cover defence nigh on impossible.

Yes on Lamb. Felt like there was always a big void without Lewies (or Horwill before him) but Lamb has stepped up very well recently. Let's hope he can keep it up because Lewies seems to have a similar injury/fitness record to Horwill so far.

Then he utterly destroyed Lahiff in the scrum a couple of mins later and Green scored in the corner.

Kenningham not MOM? It's all over for the lad.

Bonkers game, fabulously entertaining. Gotta feel for Bristol, looked like they were finally gelling again in the first half. Then Quins did a Quins. Esterhuizen makes it so much easier for Quins to do their thing, such an effective player.

That was quite a turnaround.
Credit Quins for the way they played in the 2nd half but Bris pretty much fell apart. Lam has a job on his hands to get the team back on track. Their confidence will have taken a bit of a hammering after that performance.
Quins played some thrilling stuff at times. Smith was outrageously good and the touches Dombrandt supplied were high class.
Colliers "gallop" to the line was the cherry on top.

I think the scrum went to buts when Vui moved to second row, can't face looking at the game to check though.

It would seem that he's just not providing enough power to hold the front row there. Against Bath (I think) he stayed in the back row and the scrum stayed steady.

The first 30 mins showed the team/plan is ok, the last 50 showed we need some playing changes I think. Defence coach should be getting worried though.

Watching what Smith can do, I am left wondering whether Jones will have the nerve to pick him at 10 without Farrell at 12. His can-do attitude must not be diluted by restrictive influences. He is that good based on the current stage of his developmental progress.

I’d argue Dombrandt was as ‘outrageously good’ as Smith, if not better.

Mental to think we left at least 10pts out there with the disallowed tries for Dombrandt and Steele. They were rightly chalked off but it was a real shame - the Steele try would have been epic but for a forward pass (definitely seen worse allowed).

Only got a link to Reddit, but the variety of responses from the bench to Smith’s try are amazing.

Just watched this over, and there's a turnover by Murley on 45 minutes about 5m from the line when Bristol were still looking dangerous. I know the final gap was considerably more than one score, but if Bristol had gone 31-3 up you wonder if the same comeback could be achieved. Perhaps the pivotal moment in the game, given this turnover led to the first try of the second half.
