This could have been so much worse for potter. Fucking hell just watching it back.

That match may not go down in history as one of the best, but for sheer bloody mindedness, particularly the younger forwards, that was an extremely impressive win, and I was delighted to have been there. Harry Potter’s disappearing act into the bear pit was right in front of me and I genuinely thought he’d hurt himself. There are some fearsome looking spikes pointing downwards on the top of the wall which I suppose are to discourage a pitch invasion which I imagine it goes back to the time when it was a football stadium, and is totally unnecessary in a rugby ground today. I was the only Tigers’ supporter in the part of the stand where I was sitting and the banter with the UBB supporters was great! Anyway, Tigers’ wins in France are as rare as hens’ teeth and it was a win to savour !

As it should be at every rugby ground. I've not had the pleasure but some friends have watched Tigers play in France previously and said the fans over there are a lot of fun before, during and after the match.

I'm glad Potter is ok, he clearly had no idea there was a big drop the other side of the advertising boards. You could see the look of immediate concern on the face of Lam who'd given him the little push because he'd never intended him to go over the boards.

the faces of the guys in the crowd were very funny

I do think Chessum has the makings to be a England International at lock.
Not many 6ft 7 locks about in this country with his mobility and work rate.

He bulked out quite a bit over the summer, if he adds a little more mass and physicality, which at his age he can, and retains that mobility he's going to be a very handy player. He's a menace in the lineout currently, if he can show himself to be a good scrummaging lock then Eddie will really take notice. To be fair he and Green looked solid in behind not a scrummaging hooker yesterday. Heyes did show up very well at scrum time which was good to see.

The whole thing is hilarious now that it's had a happy ending. Little hop over the low hoardings and then suddenly disappearing - that's one way to prevent the quick lineout!

On the match itself, it was hugely impressive from Leicester. Borthwick seems to have a knack for motivating and getting performances out of his whole squad - players like Porter and Hegarty were amongst the best performers despite barely having played this season and being the names that fans would've seen as rotations and potential weaknesses.

He's played there a few times for Tigers so has it in the locker to be fair.
