Silly bit of indiscipline cost us three points.

That lineout move was terrible, a junior side could defend that

Jesus this is hard watching. I'm not sure our backs have a clue what they're doing in attack.

Re: Team v Italy
Grim viewing, they created a couple of chances in the last 10. What on earth were they doing at the lineout ?normanski wrote: ↑Sat Feb 08, 2025 1:59 pmI hope you’re right. We really need to manage the break down. Would love to see a try from a rolling maul to get us on the board.Wallpaperman wrote: ↑Sat Feb 08, 2025 12:35 pm I’m feeling optimistic. The set piece went well for Wales against and Huw Jones made merry against Italy’s midfield last week.
I think it will be tight but it is definitely winnable.
Have to score next.

Rowlands has cost us so much territory and points. He just doesn’t look comfortable. Thank goodness Faletau is back. He’s done so much clearing up.

I'm so glad Gatland brought Howley back.
This is dreadful. Probably unlucky not to get a try from Williams's first kick to Adams but since then looking like we have no ideas. Second best in everything.

I think it's time to pull Ben Thomas off, his confidence looks shot to pieces.

Second chance for Italy to go more than 2 scores ahead - missed again.

Re: Team v Italy
That's a bullshit decision, the Italian deliberately dropped to milk a penalty

And another.Wallpaperman wrote: ↑Sat Feb 08, 2025 3:31 pm Second chance for Italy to go more than 2 scores ahead - missed again.
Wales are 13 points behind and literally just kicking the ball away (poorly) as soon as they get it. Legs off the bench with Teddy Williams and Wainwright. Not sure they will make any difference if Wales don’t change their style of play.
And Adams caps a great performance with a yellow card. Good chance that might end up as a 20 minute red I think.
Blimey. Apologies for any hopes raised by my earlier optimism.

He was never going to miss that one. 16 point lead for Italy, Wales a man down and not long to go.

Italy are the far better side but we’re getting a few harsh decisions.

This is going from bad to worse. Even in recent times, I dont think I've a Welsh team so bereft of ideas.

Edwards looks lively. Wainwright or Murray might be able to make things happen but it is pretty dire.pompey-zebra wrote: ↑Sat Feb 08, 2025 3:43 pm This is going from bad to worse. Even in recent times, I dont think I've a Welsh team so bereft of ideas.

Re: Team v Italy
Close, unlucky Freddie Thomas, but it was a double movement.
Adams back on, Wales back to 15. 11 minutes and three scores needed but it feels like a momentum shift.
Try, well done.
