Really enjoyable 1st half

And I think that's a red too, but think it'll be a yellow

AT the risk of being accused of riding an emotional roller coaster, it is very clear to me that Wales are now 100% favorites to win the triple crown!

We didn't win but it's nice to be gutted we lost, not feeling like a loss was inevitable.

Well played Ireland. Deserved winners over 80 minutes.

But feck me what a different level of performance from us. More control, which there should be with a fly half at fly half. Some handling errors aside, we could have scored a couple more tries. Faster and sharper in attack and plenty of spirit in defence.

What an improvement, we looked like a team that at least should be playing in the six nations.

Mee a little unlucky to not get that try. Can't remember the last time we looked so dangerous with ball in hand. (Well, dangerous to the other team, that is).

Thanks. Hoping for better things against Scotland and England to continue the journey back to respectability.

That was fantastic from your lot. Lost a bit of shape when Anscombe went off and players started to tire, but really great to watch. Love those new guys in the back 3. Ireland relentless as usual, but you had them rattled for a good period in the middle.

Absolutely shitting it for the Scotland game.

I’m not sure Jarrod Evans coming on helped us that much. Of course Anscombe had to go off for a HIA, but I wonder if Evans is just a bit rusty

Ireland ground their way to victory at the end but it was competitive - that Mee attempt could easily have been given and with it the lead near the end. Wales transformed. We're much better with Anscombe and Llewellyn, Thomas at 12. The back three were excellent (can we not have Adams back there till he proves himself at Cardiff?). Set piece was brilliant (shame the ref didn't fancy carding them for repeated scrum penalties).

A regional coach comes in and does this in a week - it shows just how badly Gatland has been coaching this team. How different the last three years might have been, thanks WRU.

For me, Mee's try should have stood as on-field decision was try. Not conclusive evidence to overturn. Ireland would have felt (rightly) a little miffed.

Hmmm, I think there was just enough evidence to suggest the ball was knocked on whilst scoring to disallow it. Naturally I wouldn’t have complained if it had been given. The conversion would have been hard but it would have made the final few minutes edge of the seat stuff.
