No, but would you be starting with some big capital spends on a stadium, gym/training centre? That'd quickly burn a lot of extra cash.OptimisticJock wrote:Do you genuinely think pro12 teams are losing 10 million a year?
Aberdeen have already stated they're open to sharing their new facilities, there's mcdiarmid park and Stirling uni too.Digby wrote:No, but would you be starting with some big capital spends on a stadium, gym/training centre? I wasn't being entirely serious. I'd have thought the punctuation would have made that clear. However pro rugby is a good way of burning through cash.
The only way of ensuring financial viability is to own your own facilities. Locking yourself into being a tenant is a sure way of making a rugby club a money pit unless you can get a great deal and huge crowds like Leinster.OptimisticJock wrote:Aberdeen have already stated they're open to sharing their new facilities, there's mcdiarmid park and Stirling uni too.Digby wrote:No, but would you be starting with some big capital spends on a stadium, gym/training centre?
