He’s had a bad game. Not offered as an excuse but he and Farrell are on a completely different wavelength.

That should be it. Still top of lineout ball, give it to Henry and we score

Smith had some decent passes, but some really bad kicks. Bad decisions and bad execution.

Held out well in the end after it looked like we would collapse!

Well JVP looked good and at least Joseph got his 90 seconds in his correct position.
Anything else?

Credit for hanging in after nearly bogging it.
Forwards over the gainline a highlight along with JVP and er kick chase.
Missed tackles, poor kicking and daft penalties to er … work on.

The one for me was on one advantage where he threw the long pass to Freeman when he had a short ball to Steward who was already on the outside of one on one with Nic White. Absolute walk in!

It’s not like it’s not predictable though.

Really pleased with JVP. Couple of issues but in 63 mins that’s to be expected. We still didn’t protect the breakdown as well as we should, but better!

Lawes and Billy were excellent throughout! Thought Chessum did very well! He’s not Itoje, but did a proper job.

Good result. A win is a win. There must be concern that we are so much a first half team.

If it goes beyond 13 we just don’t resource well.
Not sure where we go 10/12. I’d likely stick Faz at 10, but we ain’t got no 12’s.

Very boring match.
Eng back to a tighter game plan and looked better. Oz must be pretty low on their depth chart for next week, given all the injuries.
JVP and Stuart the only plus points.

Billy was excellent but was missing tackles if being critical. But he’s back to being our number one 8 imo.

Simplifying certainly help but yet we still let tries go a begging.

Its nice to get a win but that was a largely underwhelming performance. Forwards did fine and JVP had an excellent game. We did well to arrest momentum and come back to score in the 2nd half but our creativity is close to zero.

I thought Hill had a good game, unpopular as he is.

Yep bar one dumbass penalty- when he isn’t fannying about he’s a good lock.

Yep. Midfield is a quagmire but even when get somewhere we don’t finish.

On replay looks like it but the principle was right- get a centre over the gainline happy days
