Tomos Williams has signed for us at Glaws apparently. We have been screaming out for a top 9 ever since Willi Heinz left so this is great news. Starting to see the makings of a fine ‘spine’ with a Mercer, Williams, Atkinson, Atkinson, Atkinson 8, 9, 10, 12, 13 axis

You'd hope with Atkinson's salary cap saving we'd have been able to offer him a continuation on what he's currently on. He apparently signed on a pretty cheap deal (comparatively) last season having been let go by Falcons and being short on options.

Looks like Brown has signed an 18 month deal. Confirmed he's signed beyond the end of the season on the Tigers website. Good news, he's been a solid back up.

If you have the opportunity to go with an all-Atkinson midfield, it should be illegal not to take it.

Mitchell is the last of the current batch of Saints renewals - very happy with that as he's IMO the best 9 in the league, and perfect for our style of play.

Hopefully Lawes is a separate announcement because he's such a special boy

If there was nothing in the story Racing would have categorically denied any interest in signing Farrell.

I guess he’s scared of facing Russell so regularly.

Would make sense for Farrell to move now. He's 32, at 34 likely to be to old for the next Lions Tour and facing three younger challengers for the England 10 shirt. He's at the age where's he likely to get one last big contract. If he wants to test himself in France it's now, particularly because Racing look desperate for a big name 10.
