If you can stomach it, watch him stumble through scripted speeches at various meetings at the general assembly. You can see him mentally reading with his index finger. It's just painful. He understands very little of content or context. The UN is being used to project a cartoon tough guy message to his domestic base. Couple that with his barbie doll daughter sitting in on panels concerned with human trafficking in between producing little videos of herself at the center of proceedings on social media, his sex robot wife lecturing on cyber bullying (!!), and his mute zombie son in law tasked with "peace in the middle east", and you have a comedy of truly epic proportions.

On the health care thing....if that piece of toilet paper gets anywhere near legislation, it will deregulate proceedings not to the benefit of individual states but to insurance companies. They will triage the fuck out of patients with profit, not health being the primary metric. Absolute fucking madness.

Parking Trump's military dreams on North Korea thought his comments on Venezuela more than a little pathetic. I don't like an awful lot of what the government there has done, but right after Trump has just made clear it's America first and that other nations leaders should so what's best for them too maybe isn't the time to lurch into saying do as you want but we might invade you whilst you're doing that as you're proving annoying to our oil companies

That sums up the last 60 years of global conflict.
Seven words that explain genocide, rape, enslavement, diasporas, the futures markets and arms sales.

But in fairness we can't limit this to the petrochemical industries. There are the mining industries and the rubber industries and the valuable metals industry.

"There are people who marry themselves. Somebody wanted to marry a tree. People marrying their pets. It's just like -- you know, you read the New Testament and you read about all the things and you think, 'Oh, that's not going on in our community.' Oh yes it is."

I mean that's about the least offensive quote I've read from this guy, but the way it is put together is brilliant. If at all accurate.
There is that classic video of Sarah Palin on he campaign trail with trump. Her ability to mangle the English language even seemed to embarrass him.

How does the last 60 years differ to the previous few thousand? If anything things have improved somewhat

They don't differ,...that's the problem.
Improved...??........an improvement on failure is still a failure. And failure can get worse.

http://www.politico.com/story/2017/09/2 ... ers-242951
President Donald Trump’s appointees to jobs at Agriculture Department headquarters include a long-haul truck driver, a country club cabana attendant and the owner of a scented-candle company.

A POLITICO review of dozens of résumés from political appointees to USDA shows the agency has been stocked with Trump campaign staff and volunteers who in many cases demonstrated little to no experience with federal policy, let alone deep roots in agriculture. But of the 42 résumés POLITICO reviewed, 22 cited Trump campaign experience. And based on their résumés, some of those appointees appear to lack credentials, such as a college degree, required to qualify for higher government salaries.

It’s typical for presidents to reward loyalists with jobs once a campaign is over. But what’s different under Trump, sources familiar with the department's inner workings say, is the number of campaign staffers who have gotten positions and the jobs and salaries they have been hired for, despite not having solid agricultural credentials in certain cases. An inexperienced staff can lead to mistakes and sidetrack a president’s agenda, the sources say.

“There is a clear prioritization of one attribute, and that is loyalty,” said Austin Evers, American Oversight's executive director, who provided the documents after his organization received them in response to a Freedom of Information Act request. He said the group sought résumés for Trump administration political appointees from across the federal government and found an abundance of former campaign workers in positions that did not appear to match their qualifications. “The theme that emerges is pretty clear: What do you have to do to get an administration job? Work on the campaign,” he added.

I think his team of yes men must be now thinking " WTF has he said now ? " .

I don't doubt he's a very astute & ruthless business man who could afford to fund his campaign but he's now the Basil Falwty of world politics .

He's a true embarrassment for his nation , trouble is , he doesn't know it .

Loved the reaction of the Jacksonville & Baltimore players, coaches & staff at the Wembley game.
20 Players knelt, others & staff, including Jacksonville's owner Shahid Khan, who gave $1m to Trump's
campaign, linked arms during the American anthem then stood for God Dave the Queen which followed.

Trump has miscalculated big time with this. His response on Twitter later to-day/to-morrow is gong to be
fun/depressing to read if his 'advisors' don't stop him

The NFL reaction across the board has been superb. The only sporting body that has come out in support of Trump's logic is....NASCAR. I wonder what the defining variable is that accounts for this difference. Such a mystery...

It will make zero difference amongst Trumps core vote, but fair play to them for making a stand.

Meanwhile the rest of us need to hope trump doesn’t blunder into a major conflict in the Korean Peninsula.

Yep, in terms of perspective, the attack on NFL players pales in comparison. But then again, he has given NK so much rhetoric and he's probably not far away from not being able to give it any more rhetoric without giving some launch codes which could explain the NFL tweets.

He just seems unable to control his own gob/fingers. He talks and types himself into so much crap, he has no other way of getting himself out of it except to create more crap.

It's just one unmitigated verbal/typed disaster after another and the moment he creates a new one, he conveniently forgets the previous ones.

He can’t handle any criticism. When someone pushes back, he goes into melt down. He is basically a bully who gets by taking legal action against people who can’t fight back. He is now discovering as president that it’s not so easy.

The NK situation would be serious for any president. But trump is making the situation worse. This goes beyond simply being undiplomatic into a situation where his mental capability to be president must surely be under question.

He keeps digging. Dig, dig, dig,

All the while his NK rhetoric slips further into the past.

He knows what he's doing. Whipping up a domestic frenzy...

Then at some point soon enough, he'll be tweeting again about NK or China in no time.

C-U-N-T of the highest order.

I dread to think what will happen if Mueller finds enough to bring charges. The southern states will rise to anarchy and probable civil war.

This https://www.aol.com/news/trump-timeline/ gives a timeline of trumps presidency. Shows what WIW was saying about burying one crisis with another. There are so many fuck ups that I had already forgotten about. Anyone remember the James Comey firing? Are people still asking to see his tax return? There is just too much in the shitstorm for any one piece to stick for all that long.
