Sounds like a good appointment from this article: https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/soccer ... r-AA1rj9z7

CV includes Ireland head of fitness, B&I Lions, and headhunted as one of McCall's first appointments on joining Sarries. Never heard of him myself, but that's not hugely surprising and that's a decent list of credentials.

Prem clubs block Morrow from jobsharing at Saracens and England: https://archive.ph/GVxmD

Frankly, I can't say as I blame them - there's no way that the two jobs could realistically be kept separate and, while I'm sure he's an honourable man who'd not do anything to cheat, he would still get to know things that a Saracens coach shouldn't and the illusion of impropriety from having him have control over rivals' players' gametime is not something we need.

With luck, the RFU will spend the money to buy him out of his contract. We shouldn't be accepting someone in such an important role going part-time anyway, especially not if massive compromises have to be made to how his job works in order to keep the rest of the Prem happy.

I think its more like Prem clubs don't want Sarries having a coach subsidised. Call me cynical.

In line with the Champ/Tier 2 plan which is a relief :). Got a lot of time for Conor.

Would you be able to summarise anything useful that he said? I don't have the time or energy for 1hr25 of podcast today, but I'm intrigued to know if there's anything interesting that's worth knowing.
