Hmmm another over-hit cross.

They are going to be mauled and quite frankly, they deserve it. Not one player has been good tonight.

At least Barkley and Stones can hold their heads high

Rashford does something that no other England player has managed...taking the ball into the box.

England out of Europe twice in one week.
Am I first?

Never mind. You can all get behind Wales now

They did.
They forced more saves too and their chances were far more gilt-edged than ours.
I hope they have it in them to beat France too but that may be asking too much of them as France are starting to play some decent football.

I completely accept I don't know anything about football. But aren't you meant to run around and stuff? Is that only if you come off the bench?
My expert analysis is thus
a) standing still, while all your teammates stand still too, doesn't work
b) blindly hoofing it in to the box to nobody doesn't work either
Did I miss anything?

Dominant stats again Woy....well except for goals scored.
Still waiting for this hiding though, unless you meant we were on for a hiding? Genius.

Once again the over 65's can be blamed for leaving Europe.

Questionable selection backfires again. He changed 6 for Slovakia and it didn't work and he changes 6 again for tonight.
Sterling should never have started. He has been dreadful.
Lallana was one of our best players in France but for some reason he was dropped completely.
Wilshere shouldn't be in France. No fitness and not enough game time.
Sturridge isn't a winger.
Rooney isn't a playmaker.
Possession is nothing without goals.
Rashford (should've started with Vardy) comes no with 4 minutes left and does more than some of our players did in 90 minutes.
An unrecognisable plan A and no ability to change it.
A complete inability to break defences down.

Why was the centre forward taking wide free-kicks into the box ?
No leaders on or off the pitch - the better team won on the night.
Well played Iceland.

I got Iceland in the company sweepstakes and told all my English pals we'd win. They thought I was joking

England, that was atrocious. Why Rooney stayed on until the 85th minute is a feckin mystery.

Well played Iceland.
It's another Woy master stroke. It completely failed against Russia and Wales and it looked like Woy came to his sense against Slovakia but it was only because Kane was rested.
Woy has stood down. The only thing right he has done this tournament.

Absolutely clueless stuff.
We have some decent players but the team have been clueless and bereft of ideas. We need someone to come in with a clear idea of using the players to their best ability and in their best positions. This team had no style, no identity and no ability to change things.
Tonight was one of the worst performances I've seen in my life and there have been a few in that time. The number of poor balls and lack of control for easy passes. They couldn't handle the pressure.

To be fair, we never would have beaten France in the quarter finals, but i thought we'd at least have a go at getting there.
That was a pitiful display from England.
Not surprised he resigned after that, but the players deserve as much criticism as Roy(hart had a horrible tournament).
