Trump went to a college football game last night and got a mixed reaction from the crowd, in some trouble it seems is a young Alabama player who on the way out to the field yelled 'fuck Trump' perhaps being inspired by those in the crowd chanting the same thing, but it's a televised/recorded event not something played in front of 20 people including the parents. On the one hand when representing your university it's not the time to make such comments, on the other hand Trump will not mind as he's very much on record as saying it's just locker room talk

This is from the guy who argued Hillary wasn’t fit enough to do the job.

Sounds like he is being kept to one side and letting actual adults do the work.

Well you can see the man in action right here. Really puts the 4D chess talk out of reach. Truly baffling to watch him pretend to understand what anybody is talking about.

I don’t know how to do his they than via a twitter link, but it’s got all the videos within it if you click on to the thread.

That is stunning.

What a negotiator!

Clever too, very clever. Like, really smart.

Genius even.

Note how he goes all He-Man on twatter after that display. The man is a complete mollusk. Is there anyone in the world, besides himself, that takes this clown seriously any more? I can't wait for him to be interviewed by Robert Mueller without his handlers controlling the narrative.

On a more positive note, social welfare for the coal industry mooted by Trump's energy secretary, Rick "special needs" Perry, has been shot down as too overtly stupid, even by people within the industry. https://www.nytimes.com/2018/01/08/clim ... clear.html

The fact that this administration has attempted to make the propping up of this dying industry says a lot about the depth of their understanding of, well, life, the universe, and everything really.

Republicans in North Carolina in trouble for trying to redraw electoral boundaries in a manner which would massively suit the Republican party, this no doubt comes under draining the swamp

Meanwhile, the irony plane crashes into a massive cartoon spunking cock hastily scribbled with an indelible felt tip pen onto a toilet cubicle wall.

I liked the bit where he said the same sentence re-arranged 7 different ways.

It is I suppose only sensible if you're going to make a stand on libel and not being able to make false claims to indeed suggest that Nigerians coming to America will not want to return to their huts, that Haiti and various African countries are all shitholes, and that all Haitians have AIDS

Sadly Trump will not be coming to the UK, not because we're a shithole country (though with Brexit we're on our way) but because Obama sold the last US Embassy and he doesn't want to open the new one. A couple of issues there, the US never owned the first embassy or at least it was only leasehold, and the decision to move came under Bush not Obama. That Trump was to get none of the pomp and circumstance he wanted, and that large crowds would've turned out to heckle the orange wanker are not among the reasons given for delaying the visit. The Daily Mail inspired perhaps by many remainers stance on Brexit says if Trump coming to the UK harms our US relations that's on those of us who don't respond to Trump with platitudes, I guess we'll just have to own that one and try to struggle on.

As I understand it, the US Government did own the building, but as you say it was leasehold (is there any other type in that part of London?). It seems that they have sold it to a Qatari property firm who are intending to convert it into a hotel. I expect all sorts of exciting finds during the conversion process.

Trump straight in with a strong defence that he might have said some rude words but he didn't explicitly use the words being attributed to him. This could be his Andrew Mitchell moment in the sun.

Boris is having a pop too at Khan and Corbyn now the Trump visit is cancelled (or perhaps just delayed). And even for Boris that's overlooking he's had some cross words for Trump at times, so much I'd assume Boris just wants his name in the paper as he's not that he'll not know he looks a hypocrite

Pity he's cancelled that, I've got a couple of small melons coming along quite nicely on the compost heap in readiness for him; and I've been practicing my melon-toss since the new year - getting quite accurate up to the length of my garden now.

If there's enough of us, some will get through.
If British security get to me, they'll probably join in themselves, whilst if it's the American SS, then at least I've got white skin, so I should be safe from bullets.
Of course, in all seriousness, I'm lying anyway; I do'nt possess a compost bin; wouldn't travel to London to protest, and wouldn't actually throw rotten fruit at him even if I did.

Grass? in London? more likely to find a library that's still open ("Book Repository" is just a weird name for "Library" isn't it?)

I thought that was a tablet in book form that one inserts rectally???

Medicine has made stunning progress through the years but this is one area which seems lacking.
