I have this weird feeling I’ve talked about Dunbar at 13 before, but yes I’d pick him there where he always seems to break the line with good angles, runs the defence incredibly well and seems to score most of his tries.

I’m not sure I’d pick Jackson in the best 23 but he seemed to be playing very well and wasn’t sure if he was injured.

I like Dunbar at 13 too but he's looked a bit hit and miss recently anyway.

Jackson has been away with the sevens

Is it time for weeg fans to be a little worried about the future (in relative terms)?

No signings confirmed for next year. Russell leaving, some upgrades in the forwards clearly required and the looming end to Hoggs contract in 2019.

A little bit I’d day. Price losing form with Russell off and a different centre pairing every week certainly seems to make cohesion in the backs look tricky.

While the forward pack still seems prone to falling apart a bit if a couple of key members aren’t there or things don’t go well early on.

How injury hit has this season been in comparison to recent ones?

God knows why it shows me as a guest.

I like him as a player but can see why he might not have got many exciting offers from elsewhere. Glasgow probably happy to move on to younger backup options

A bit undersized always seemed to be the knock on him and I can therefore understand retiring before the boys picked up too ,I have lasting damage. Nice to see a player that studied and prepared for life after rugby.

Like who?

He is exactly what you need as a backup hooker. This is bad news for Glasgow IMO. He's only 31 as well... I assume his new "normal" job was too enticing to put off any longer. Best of luck to him but I would have thought it's a couple of years too early. Glasgow look very weak at hooker after Brown.

More on Vernon, Grant, Mcarthur, Sarto, Vunisa, Russell all leaving.

Does that mean Fusaro is getting a new deal? Not a good move IMO. He's given Glasgow a lot but if they want to kick on he really should be replaced. Their back row options are not good enough.

They've been very very quiet on recruitment.

So Wee Turbo Horne picked up Player of the Season, Young Player of the Season and Top Try Scorer awards. Not bad for his 1st season as pro.

Price to Edinburgh is getting quite a bit of traction.

Yeah I've read that too. Makes sense.

I expect Lang to Glasgow to get some traction too.

Price to Edinburgh actually makes a good bit more sense than Pyrgos getting offloaded there. Could maybe do with a bit of a change and lets Horne continue as he is. I wonder what Cockerills approach might do for someone like Price.

I'd be chuffed to fuck with price moving tbh

3 days to the semi final and not a peep

I think Rennie has struggled to make/keep Glasgow as 80 min team, expect them to be 10 up at half time and then lose

No doubt Glasgow will persist with the Banzai attack game plan, though it would be nice (for a change) if it didn`t end with hara-kiri.

There is a decent team in there but they have had it far to easy this season and failed every time they need to step up, need to find a couple of guys that will take the game by the scruff of the neck

Team looks strong enough to do the business. Horne starts at 9 (brother on bench), Bhatti at 1, Matt Fagerson @ 6, Johnson 12, Grigg 13.

Would post a link or a pic, but I have forgotten how.

Great stuff. They should recruit you for their media team.

So the teams are as follows. Big call to choose Johnson and Grigg ahead of the first choice Scotland pairing. Also surprised but pleased to see Bhatti and Faegerson get the start. With the propensity to play attacking rugby this has the potential to be a cracking game.

No Price may be the right call. It it's only going to fuel the Edinburgh rumors.

Glasgow:

S Hogg; T Seymour, N Grigg, S Johnson, DTH van der Merwe; F Russell, G Horne; J Bhatti, F Brown, Z Fagerson; T Swinson, J Gray; M Fagerson, C Gibbins, R Wilson (capt).
Replacements: G Turner, A Allan, S Halanukonuka, R Harley, C Fusaro, H Pyrgos, P Horne, R Jackson.

Scarlets:

J McNicholl; T Prydie, S Williams, H Parkes, S Evans; R Patchell, G Davies; R Evans, K Owens (capt), S Lee, T Beirne, S Cummins, A Shingler, J Davies, J Barclay.
Replacements: R Elias, W Jones, W Kruger, L Rawlins, W Boyde, J Evans, D Jones, S Hughes.

I don't think Rennie has a clue what his best team is, does he? Neither do we. Glasgow seem to get disrupted way too much - internationals, rotation & bad injury records.

Bench cover all wrong.
