Its pathetic. And I suspect that the initial leaked memo will raise right wing blood pressure, then the full document will be leaked which will show it was taken out of context.

Will Trump dare to sack Mueller and hope the initial wave of support is enough to blunt any recriminations? I was reading the other day that the Whitehouse lawyers aren't too worried by the investigation digging up evidence of Trump personally colluding, but are worried that Trump might perjure himself in the process due to him inhabiting an alternative factual reality. A happy thought.
He could well face (perhaps at most) a censure for collusion whether called collusion or not, but yep, it's the cover up which as so often looks the bigger problem as regards the election. The other likely big problem is the wider range of charges Trump might face for laundering and whatnot in his business dealings outside running for office, Mueller seems to have given himself a wide brief to investigating Trump and the rest of the Adams Family

"The top Leadership and Investigators of the FBI and the Justice Department have politicized the sacred investigative process in favor of Democrats and against Republicans - something which would have been unthinkable just a short time ago. Rank & File are great people!"

Ignoring the well meaning advice from Tropic Thunder to never go full retard Trump is just forging ahead in a new and unique relationship with the FBI and DoJ, maybe for his next trick he'd like to berate the Secret Service

The spelling. The grammar. The cautious use of the third person. The whole fuckeduppedness of everything about this genius tweet.

He doesn't even know what the words "collusion" and "obstruction" actually mean does he?

I'm clearly missing something. There might have been an error in how the FISA procedures were used, it may even have been politically motivated, and both those things can reasonably be looked into. But how does the memo prove there was no collusion or obstruction?

It wouldn't be much to mock given how easily it could happen to anyone, but when you've gone on record as having one of the great memories of all time it's easy to laugh when he errs in such fashion

Trump seems to think those marching about the NHS are marching in protest of the NHS. If he's not simply ignorant then he's being willfully ignorant and lying

Oh FFS

https://www.realclearpolitics.com/video ... onous.html

"Trump called the reaction from Democrats was "treasonous" and said they "didn't seem to love our country very much."

"They would rather see Trump do badly, okay, than our country do well. That's what it mean. It's very selfish. And it got to a point where I really didn't even want to look too much during the speech over to that side because honestly, it was bad energy. It was bad energy. You're up there, you've got half the room going totally crazy wild, they loved everything, they want to do something great for our country. And you have the other side, even on the positive news, really positive news like that, they were like death and un-American. Un-American. Somebody said treasonous. I mean, yeah, I guess, why not. Can we call that treason?"

"I mean they certainly didn't seem to love our country very much," he added. "So you look at that and it is very, very sad."

The orange one claimed a lot of credit for a booming stock market, so will he now be consistent and take criticism for the corrections in the last couple of days? In truth whilst he is more responsible for the falls having urged an increase in borrowing to fund tax cuts for the rich in an already growing economy both are more part of a wider economic cycle, but having claimed credit (whether by lying, in ignorance or delusion) he should at least now agree with himself.

Any intelligent observer knows that if you take credit for the good you also own the bad.

But as most of these people didn't vote trump it makes little difference.

Surely a massively successful businessman/genius who has no doubt gained and lost vast amounts money on the stock markets would know better than to boast about any upturns, that may, or may not be related to anything they have done?

The man is thick as shit. Did he really think the Dow would continue to rise forever and never fall or fluctuate again?

Rhetorical questions as he clearly doesn't know better and probably thought the rise would be constant and never changing.

In a step up from yesterday's news.

He now wants a military parade in his honour; like all the best dictatorships have:

I'll be honest, I'm actually quite surprised America does already do this, it seems right up their alley. Maybe they start enough wars that they don't feel the need.

Those sort of military displays are considered very "Red Square" over here, and are frowned upon generally. And you are right, there is plenty of ordnance on display all over the globe, unfortunately.

Yeah, I get that; it just seems weird - from the outside. America, crass OTT patriotism, fetishisation of weaponry, and hero worship of the armed forces all seem to go absolutely hand in hand

A parade wouldn't be for the American people, it would be for Trump.

Just think of the boner he would get having thousands of armed forces personnel marching past giving him a salute.

He would see that as the ultimate respect...the respect that he deserves, you know cos he's a great guy.
