Horne yet again with a questionable pass when under pressure in a scoring position. He is considered to be our best passing/playmaking 12 but this is a real feature. The support were very flat, it was more difficult than Nichol acknowledges, but still.

Would suggest he plans to leave after that. At 30, if he had long term plans to stay at Glasgow you'd have thought a 2 year deal would have been attainable at least.

Glasgow cannot be that thick so I suspect Horne (and his agent/father) may have forseen what would happen... A much better deal beckons now.

That is correct, however if there was a two year deal wanted it isn't a stretch to think one could have been agreed.

I think Hastings could make it tricky for the Glasgow and their budget too. He can within reason name his price and Glasgow/SRU probably have to pay it.

I’d not been entirely sold on him as a full time winger until recently, maybe it would go differently this time but there was a sense he never really clicked at all at Bath/Exe and was finally able to do his thing again when returning to Glasgow. You’d think any pro14 side would be fully aware of what they’re getting themselves on for though.

Niko always looked much better on the wing, whilst he just never really looked like a starting scrum half unless surrounded by a team of Fijians.
One of those who wanted to play where he wanted to play, and kinda sulked when asked to play where he was better.
It looks like he's accepted that he's a better winger now, and actually thrown himself into the role properly. Still fine as a backup SH, or for the last 10 minutes.
