I don't know but I assume investigators will not be allowed unfettered access to attorney work product and the courts will employ a special master (is that the right term?) to review material and decide what can be handed over to the justice department investigators.
If he isn't a witch, he should have nothing to worry about.

The dozey twat has repeatedly made the same kind of paranoid claims about the investigation(s) into him. He has attacked, criticised and questioned the integrity of the intelligence services, and anyone else who hasn't been prepared to worship his mighty intellect and business prowess.

This is why Twitter is the perfect medium for him. He can post whatever BS he wants and it's there, so in his own mind, it must be true.

In truth I think there are concerns around appointing a special prosecutor and giving them terms of investigation + anything arising from said investigation. That it's happening to a figure I don't like in Trump makes me feel better about it, but really I should be a little more consistent.

Nah. Not useful.

Trump takes the use of twitter as a diplomacy and military tool to a new level:

"Russia vows to shoot down any and all missiles fired at Syria. Get ready Russia, because they will be coming, nice and new and “smart!” You shouldn’t be partners with a Gas Killing Animal who kills his people and enjoys it!"

When it's widely reported he is doing what he accused Obama of doing, that is broadcasting his intentions in Syria, he responds with this piece of genius subterfuge....

"Never said when an attack on Syria would take place. Could be very soon or not so soon at all! In any event, the United States, under my Administration, has done a great job of ridding the region of ISIS. Where is our “Thank you America?”"

Has there been a greater genius in the history of geniuses? Genius.

He has totally fucking lost it. It's the anti-eugenics argument played out frame by painful frame. Sweet mother of god.

As much as I enjoy the media and press ripping into Trump every time he makes a complete twat out of himself, it's kinda unsettling that the style of reporting changes to a more respectful tone when he orders air strikes.

Killing Syrians sure makes up for the Syrians that have already been killed.

Cue Putin's response.

Then cue...?

Agreed WiW. A twat stays a twat.

Coming almost straight from throwing Cohen under the bus Trump, or Trump's whitehouse, were quick to throw United Nations Ambassador under the bus when she announced extra sanctions coming on Russia (which Trump had signed off on, but then cancelled in the wake of the strikes on Syria without telling Haley)

I get the non imposition of extra sanctions is a way to get Russia to react less, though sadly for the Whitehouse when they said Haley got a little confused she was very quick to make clear she wasn't confused. Haley may have gotten an apology, as with much coming from team Trump it's not clear, and too it's hard to worry much about the feelings of Nikki Haley - though you do feel senior cabinet types should know what the boss is thinking before he so often reverses a decision on them in public.

Sarah Sanders in an attempt to muddy the waters in what passes for team Trump trying to clear it all up said future sanctions were still possible, allowing one to glean that both Trump and Haley were correct even if saying rather different things. Still, sanctions on Russia isn't the sort of thing one should be careful about just 'cause people are talking about WWIII

He's painted himself into a corner where his ego has no exit.
It looks like he has the perfect mentality to tear everything down with him, like someone that's drowning.

This is increasingly becoming an era where we need democracy to govern capitalism with a tighter grip.
They'll kill us all for a profit.

Dems going on a legal trolling spree of Trump, I have to say I didn't see this coming.

No idea if the Dems will endup coming across as sore losers, or whether they will force people to reveal their guilt and face consequences. Or whether it's just a move to keep the story in the press with a possible view to Mueller being fired

If a politician exhibits even the slightest possibility of being a poor loser.......then they shouldn't be a politician.
Because they're almost certainly mentally compromised pricks.

That's after the prohibition of wanting to be a politician has already disqualified them and they've tried yet again.
Which they will. Almost immediately.

The feckers want it so much,.....they definitely shouldn't get it.

Being a politician = mentally compromised pricks.
Drinking ten cans of special brew and wailing in to the black hole that is rugby rebels = class warrior.

I drank (part of) a can of Special Brew at Uni, a mate from home turned up at the house I was sharing with a plea to crash on the sofa and some 'beer' as a thank you, truly disgusting stuff that I wasn't willing to drink for free as a student.

I didn't see the DNC lodging a suit to sue a foreign government, which they can't do anyway, and I didn't see Trump adding Giuliani to his legal team on the basis that Giuliani comes across as bat shit crazy. The only thing about naming Giuliani which makes any sort of sense to me is to see if Mueller reacts to the appointment of Giuliani with a claim there's a conflict of interest.

Homespun common sense occasionally needs some lubrication.
Ten cans of spesh' and I couldna count, let alone type.

Believe me,.... in the old days I tried something similar. I think I got a 24hr ban for being racist about the Somali's.

There is conceivably big news out for Trump given he's tweeted on NK that ' they have agreed to denuclearization', if true that's getting very little attention and is an amazing achievement. Though it's also conceivable Trump doesn't know what denuclearization means and/or has misunderstood what NK has actually said.

They haven't actually said they're winding down their programme, but just that they're done testing and they're happy with the results. It leaves things open for them to reneg on shit later on, and they haven't actually committed to denuclearisation or continued research and testing into solid fuel rocket research, space launches, etc.
You're suggesting then that Trump doesn't understand what he's said?

So... NK have achieved nuclear capability, proven it to all and sundry, and have now agreed that they've proven capability, and successfully wrung recognition and ligitimacy from the POTUS. And they've agreed to stop trying to prove themselves (but to continue refining their launch systems, and probably their actual nuclear weaponry, just without further nuclear tests).

Now see here, they've agreed to take offline a facility that's damaged and they couldn't use again anyway without expensive restoration! So just show the fat orange wanker some respect.
