Haye makes no mention of his injury, even when pushed in an interview.

Haye is finished. He was winning the fight until his injury but he never had Bellew in trouble.

AJ, WK and Wilder would all have had him out in 1st rnds.

Bellew does deserves some credit. He took some decent shots in there.

Given his age Bellew should go after Parker. He only had a couple of fights left. He's as well chasing HW fights as there's no money at CW. He'll lose bit he's as well getting paid

What a load of crap, a terrible advertisement for boxing, in the heyday of heavyweight boxing these two bums wouldn't even get work as sparring partners.

Garcia v Thurman, now there was a decent scrap.

Thought it was a bit of a crap fight. Thought Haye would take it easily, credit to Bellew. Lucky he got injured though. I hope he stays in heavyweight, AJ will destroy him. I fancy Parker to smash him up too.

They will. But it's retirement money for Bellew now. Seeing as Haye was ranked no.1 contender to Parker then that fight makes sense.

Will be good for Parker. Pay day and raise his profile in UK if there is to be a fight with AJ down the road.

As I said I think Haye is finished. He hits hard but Bellew took all his shots early. He would have chinned him eventually but he couldn't get him out early.

Yay, dad won.

Two more fights max at heavyweight then Bellew is gone, according to Hearn.

Haye is the money fight for Bellew but Haye has had/needs surgery on his achilles and there is no guarantee he comes back at all.

Don't forget that Parker has to negotiate Hughie Fury first :)

Just been reading that Parker is guaranteed £1.8 million for this fight and Fury will receive at least £1.2 million .

It could only happen to heavies . If Fury gets smashed he need never fight again after just 20 ' fights ' . :o

I don't begrudge heavy weights getting silly money, if I ignore the fact I dislike any sportsman getting silly money. If you're going to be repeatedly punched in the head by a physical freak for a living best make it a short career.

You are Tyson Fury and I claim my £1,000, 000 prize .

Think I heard today he's fighting later in the year . Mind you , that could be a family dispute .

I heard a cringeworthy Haye on 5Live drumming up a return bout with Bellew but this time he'd show much respect . Haye's expecting a fine from the BBBc for ' trash ' talk before their last encounter . How an earth would anyone want to see these two in the same ring again :?: Anyone who steps thru' the ropes and is prepared to face someone willing to take their head off gets my vote , but , surely even heavyweight fans wouldn't want a repeat .

My local was rammed Saturday night to watch this , even uninformed heavyweight fans thought the ' fight ' poor .

I suppose people would want to see what the outcome would be without one of the fighters being badly injured, I think everyone knows Haye is the better boxer.

Bellew wouldn't take another fight against Haye imo.

I wouldn't if I were him. Get the winner of Parker and the diddy Fury at Goodison, make a bit of money, maybe fluke a world title and retire.

Haye even though I think he is shot is better than all 3 of the above.

Golovkin fights Daniel Jacobs on Saturday night in what could be his stiffest oppostion yet, Jacobs has a record of 32/31/1 with 29KOs, unfortunately for him as his only defeat has come by the way of knockout then I can't see any way for him to dethrone the Kazakh King.

I think a lot of GGG's opponents get fed up of hitting him before getting knocked out . The guys an absolute beast but brilliant to watch . He surely has to be the current best p4p boxer world wide .

Well, I don't know if anyone saw the fight but I had Golovkin losing, I think perhaps the American judges favoured Golovkins come forward approach which saw him win the tighter rounds.

Golovkin looked off the pace a bit, perhaps showed a little bit too much respect to Jacobs and Jacobs picked him off from the outside quite comfortably at times. Golovkin struggled to pin Jacobs down throughout the whole fight but I think as he was chasing him that's what the judges went for, certainly if you were to judge it on skill Jacobs would have been the victor.

Also Roman Gonzales (Chocolotito) got beaten on points by a Thai blokey whose name I can't even begin to spell, a huge upset as Gonzales was unbeaten and regarded as one of the best p4p out there, it was a cracking fight if you get a chance to see it.

Next up for triple G seems to be Billy Joe Saunders (they are touting Canelo but I can't see it).

I can't see Saunders bothering him too much, Jacobs came in very big for the fight which was what caused GGG the issues really, he'd walk through Bill Joe Saunders I suspect.

Josh Taylor fights tomorrow night on Spike for the Commonwealth Super Lightweight strap, this boy has the tools to go a long way and is being mentored by none other than Ken Buchanan.

Coverage starts at 8.

Well another quality performance from Josh taylor on Friday night to secure the Commonwealth strap, there's been talk of an all scottish showdown between him and Ricky Burns, I don't think Burns would take this fight if he has any sense, however to Burns's credit he dodges no-one.

Crolla was outclassed by Linares who is a couple of levels up from Crolla as a fighter, Crolla showed great humility after this fight which was nice to see. If Linares had a bit more power then he would be unstoppable, I haven't seen anyone box as well as him for some time.
