Blydi hell. A team try that. BP sewn up. Glasgow did take advantage of an injured player down getting physio treatment but you have to take every opportunity... They weren't in any real danger of colliding.

Pyrgos' performance today is giving us a glimpse into what we could be missing at 9.

Glasgow on song are just fantastic to watch. I heard the Zebre game sold out almost well over a week ago already. Hardly surprising!

41-10 to Glasgow for anyone not able to watch. There have been some superb, superb performances today. Russell is off now but he has ripped that defence to shreds. I'll have to check the stats later but it looked like he made a fair few line breaks, plus two tries and some very key passes in the build up to others.

Grayson Hart is up to it, is he? I know that Mr T and Naka are special players but they can't beat 6 players alone from a standing start. Complete waste of a penalty from Hart.

Clancy either feels sorry for the Scarlets or is completely clueless. Or both?

 He was grand when he was on. Fantastic strength to make ywards and draw players without being held up on a few occasions. Passing was on the money.

Seemed an odd call to go right at the time but it was to two phenomenal ball players, enough of an unexpected call to maybe make it come off. Worth a shot given T's form with scratlets.

2 weekends left til the playoffs.

Glasgow and Connaught should both get max points versus the Italians, so it'll come down to the last game Glasgow away at Connaught! Which, if we don't win it, will be the semi final game too. I can't see us winning over there I'm afraid.

Also that weekend is Scarlets at Dragons - could go any way - and Leinster at Ulster - again who knows?

Final weekend, Leinsters game is against Treviso, so they will finish top, leaving us or Connaught for 2nd. 4th place scrap between Scarlets and Ulster. Nothing against Scarlets but I hope to God Ulster get 4th as they have a better chance of beating Leinster in the semi.

Prediction for final: Leinster v Connaught. I'll be supporting Connaught.

Any of you lot see the battering Connacht gave Munster? Makes things a little difficult for a home semi now. Assuming that Connact and Glasgow both 5 point their Italian opponents it comes down to that end-of-season game in Galway.

Bollox didn't think it thru. If Ulster beat Leinster next game, us and Connaught will be 1sr and 2nd going into final weekend.

COME ON ULSTER

Which means our semi, if not at home, could be away in Dublin or Galway. Both are fcking awful semis to have. Still think it'll be L v C final.

Looks like you beat me to it. Leinster are pretty much nailed on to finish top. It's a two horse race for second and a two horse race for fourth. A full strength Glasgow team should dispatch Connacht away from home so I think Leinster, Glasgow, Connacht and if I had to guess, Ulster.

I said on a couple of other threads, the Scarlets league position is misleading. They are a piss poor team that racked up their wins against strong teams during the RWC & shortly after it.

I don't share your optimism about winning in Galway.

A Glagow Ulster final might well fill Murrayfield. Can see it being Leinster v either Connacht of Weeg. Will be going anyway. Edinburgh have it in their own hands to finish 6th.

Are none of the final round games televised or is the information simply not yet available?

If the broadcasters have a choice you'd have to put your money on Connacht v Glasgow given what is riding on the game.

I'd say anything involving the Weeg will fill Murrayfield. The Irish will show up to the opening of a bag of crisps, it'll be a high attendance whoever is in it.

Greg, the broadcasters will just be waiting to see which of the games are the vital ones.

Game is currently on youtube if anyone hasn't seen it. Glasgow great to watch and it's always lovely to see the Scarlets get a thumping. Davies and Williams are great players but they aren't half chippy.

Special mention for Dunbar who was excellent. Three important turnovers, really solid in defence and always available on attack. However Russell was the star of the show and played with really swagger. Two great finishes as well. Looks like he's coming into form at the right time but he's always been able to put away poor sides.

LI were all but relegated today and tbh there isn't much worth pillaging from that squad but if Glasgow have the budget Ben Franks would be a fine addition to the squad. Exactly what they need if you ask me.

Decent shout. Not heard much about recruitment from Glasgow except Sarto. I suppose Townsend is just looking forward to having the players for a bit longer than this season

I know right? I've been trying to tell this lot I should be a top rugby coach but they're not having any of it...

There's also Corey Flynn.

Both Franks brothers are apparently in talks with Bath and Exeter. Can't remember which Franks is talking to which club.

I dont think Glasgow have the budget for him but if the room could be found it would be a great addition. If we take salary out of the equation I'd like to think Glasgow could compete with those two. The other option as discussed previously is to bring Moray Low back.
