What's the bar for mature?
Probably to prevent them slipping in the shower and breaking a hip.
Okay, that made me laugh out loud.

Mild cognitive impairment with possible early dementia? Sure, anything but a woman. Women are dirty.
How many old white dudes does it take to change a light bulb?

Check out Trumpo the Klown trying to pronounce Indian names and places on tour there. That fucker can't get out of there quick enough to wash the brown off him.
Consider also elite debator Mike "Stunned Mullet" Bloomberg and you have a cracker dementia trifecta.

Biden has always been like that, so what's the evidence of a decline?
if the concern is old people running then someone needs to tell Warren and Sanders too

In Sanders case, it is what he says.
He moved from “I have nothing to be ashamed of” to “I never do anything wrong, and if it happens it is from infiltrated”. The latter is Trumpian.
BTW, what was he thinking when he wrote that cancer can be psicosomatic, the effect of a bad relationship with the mother or a female teacher? He is definitely less crazy now!!

If anyone is wondering about the positions of the Dem candidates regarding LGBTQ, etc., issues, the HRC did a survey with them.

She's easily got the best track record fit for today's mild climate-changey wintry climate of inequality. She is the architect of a lot of consumer protection set in place after the financial sector lost it's rhythm and spunked the spawn of Goldman Sachs into the public belly.
But shes a geeky woman that will just get mansplained off the ticket, with the odd crying bilionaire thrown in for good measure.

I'm not sure how to respond to the second bit. I'd like to think people can see through Bloomberg/Biden and that if she fails in her run it won't be down to mansplaining/not being able to get a word in. But I suppose it can't be ruled out. Zingers and snappy social media sound-bites seem to rule all and she's pretty good at those.
I like the
idea of Warren but I'm not fully convinced she's not putting on an act.
If the mere suggestion of you reading a twitter thread doesn't send you into convulsions I'd be curious what your take is on this. You'll probably be 1000 times more equipped to make sense (or not) of it.
I'm not going to pretend to understand all the details on it, this is just another example I've seen that suggest her stance on healthcare - 'Bernie's has his head in the clouds, Warren has an actual plan!' - is a bit disingenuous. The 'Working Families Party' endorsement thing was another strange one involving (it seems) her daughter.
Fuck it. I dunno.

Then again, the thing about her lime green strap-on made her sound pretty badass.

I just don't think 'Murrica is ready to handle a woman in the top job. She is being coy about universal healthcare because that is what they will beat her about the head with. Ditto Sanders. Health insurance is a complex issue in the States, and nothing gets done in the health feild without it, including clinical trials for new drugs. Insurers are simply a non-negotiable obstacle that must be tackled whether you are testing a new drug or lobbying to fight for access to that drug, no one will do anything unless the activity is insured. I'm really reluctant to follow a line of investigation via twitter because it is more likley to result endless loop of anecdote and speculation. At the moment I see a capable professional that has a history of fierce advocacy for the consumer (and like it or not, the American public are considered consumers when it comes to health care). If there are skeletons in the closet, then this circus of a confirmation process should (in theory) out it.

I wouldn't call it that, it's just a block of text that happens to be on a different website, but I take your point.
Overall, fair enough. The "in theory" is the real clanger in there.

An article from The NY Times, it is available only to subscribers so I cannot post it. He wrote that drivel 50 years ago. And also that too many orgasms cause cancer in women.
He is still a fan of alternative medicine, though. But as complementary to the “official medicine”, not as a replacement.
As I said, he is far less crazy now.

Correction, it was too few orgasms (sexual repression) that cause cancer in women.
My apologies.

America is ready for a woman to hold the top job, but there has not been a thick skinned woman with balls ready to take the stage. Warren does not have the gusto.... or much else. As a woman, I get tired of hearing how oppressed our gender is, and how unfair women get treated. I dont buy in to that nonsense and certainly have never felt oppressed a day in my life.
In fact just the opposite. If you dont want to be treated like a doormat then you need to get up off the floor.
Whatcha think about Tulsi?

I am registered as independent and quite frankly I find it hard to see the primary competition.
Warren was my preferred candidate, but she makes too many mistakes. Policy wise, no one comes even close. I have concerns on her character.
Klobuchar is second in my list. She doesn’t have a lot of following.
Buttigieg Seems to have character, I am not sure he has enough experience. Also policy wise I am not sure he has passion for any specific issue.
The other Bs? Too old. Yes, I am an ageist!
Harris was the one I hoped would fare better.
Gabbard? I don’t know why she hasn’t withdrawn from the field. I cannot see anything both in terms of character or policies. Or followers. She appears a lot on Fox: that is not where you get primary votes. It is suspicious.
