Fear not,.....I have spoken to our new insect overlords and we should be ok.

The apparently unceasing line of books bringing the inside scoop of the Trump administration can get a bit uninteresting after a while. But when Woodward enters the fray, it’s worth a look. It won’t change the views of Trumps core voters, but any sane person should be aware by now of the insanity in the White House.

God lord, surely this isn't Clive looking for 1% gains hidden out back the EOB?

Literally every statement he makes on this latest book is either defcon 1 ironic or contradicts completely some other statement made within the past 2-3 years. Someone needs a big cup of STFU

Remember those idiots who thought trump would be less aggressive overseas than Obama?
Trump simply isn’t stable.

Taking on Bob Woodward is not a good idea.

It's near hourly nonsense streaming out of the white house now. Absolutely surreal. The most cohesive response seems to be spiteful immigration directives as the white supremacists dig in. We are witnessing historical levels of incompetence.

Woodward's telephone call to Trump is very illuminating.

Makes you think that many of the accusations must be near to the mark.

It's incredible. Trump just reiterates stock self praise lines and it takes him about 5-6 minutes to actually clock what is going on with the conversation. Woodward's dialogue with Conway didn't even need Trump to be on the phone. He couldn't process it, he can't process it. He just doesn't appear to understand what the people in his orbit actually do, and those people appear to actively divert the Orange death star away from unsupervised dialogue with any extraterrestrial entity. The deal thing that he claims to be the jedi master of is obviously his weakest link. Fuck my arse, what a complete gumby.

A friend of mine coined it well this morning: "Is this meant to be reassuring? Using your unearned position of power to advance your own agenda while everyone else is preoccupied with the unhinged ramblings of our commander-in-chief doesn't make you a big damn hero, whoever you are. It makes you an opportunist, and we already knew the administration was lousy with those."

Civil servsnts and other government types running interference isn’t new. But in this administration there is a clear view that the top man isn’t stable, let alone competent.
The problem with the approach taken is that if trump sacks them all tomorrow, which he can do, then who is to say if the replacements will do the same?
Time to just declare him insane?

I can't be bothered to track down all the relevant videos but there have been some great ones of all the shuffling about that the Trump team do to get the correct kind of people shot when he is speaking.
I think the rest of the videos are in that thread somewhere.

When you put it like that, then no. But there have been a lot of times in the last 4 years when I've been wondering where the hell our civil service was when the Bullingdon Club nutters were running the country like it was their private game of Monopoly.
My Brother always tells me: 'unfortunately Sir Humphrey is a fictional character'.

President Little Bitch should STFU:
"The Woodward book is a scam. I don’t talk the way I am quoted."
If you were quoted then you actually said it, you unmitigated fuckwit.
Trump is Terry Fuckwit.

Trump's comments on the book featuring him as opposed to the book on Obama show him up as a raging hypocrite, but really that's an as expected outcome

Is that just made up nonsense? Partly I never knew white power had a symbol, but also why would anyone other than a child even want a symbol?
