Vegas doesn't really do reality, other than its whole is based on the abuse of labour. Without question one of the weirdest places I've been. Is she asking though for people to be able to travel as normal, or for some restrictions on the denizens of Vegas to be lifted? If she's asking for free travel to and fro Vegas she's not really just offering her city as a giant experiment

Yeah, it's a great place to visit - I have been more than once. But definitely not normal. Like, the opposite of normal.Sandydragon wrote:I can't being to image what it must be like growing up there, thinking that place is normal.Coco wrote:I lived there from 89 - 97... great times... great experiences... met some great people.... but it was a planet all its own.Sandydragon wrote:

Moved there to live with my boyfriend... he lived there (was from Burbank originally). Man did we party... good times my entire 20s... then reality sets in once you see people cashing their paychecks every Friday at the casino... only to gamble it all away... knowing they have a family at home depending on them. Its quite an eyeopener. Very sad. Had our daughter and decided it was no place to raise a child so moved back to So. Cali. I miss the weather though... I love the dry heat.Sandydragon wrote:I can't being to image what it must be like growing up there, thinking that place is normal.Coco wrote:I lived there from 89 - 97... great times... great experiences... met some great people.... but it was a planet all its own.Sandydragon wrote:

It is usually futile to try to talk facts and analysis to people who are enjoying a sense of moral superiority in their ignorance.

One of the times I went, I spent time wandering around the casino floors. Not a massive gambler but sacrificed 5 dollars just for the hell of it. I remember this woman sat at a slot machine with one of those buckets of quarters just playing and playing . Her child, about 5 or 6 was asleep at her feet. One of those times you really can’t believe your eyes.Coco wrote:Moved there to live with my boyfriend... he lived there (was from Burbank originally). I used to go to Vegas every year with my wife to watch the US Sevens. They moved it LA this year. We'd stay outside of Vegas to the East at Lake Las Vegas. Really nice in Feb/Mar as its cool at night and not too warm during the day. Windy, though in the afternoons. Beautiful scenery and lovey walking trails.

Re: America
Welcome to the United States of Comedy. You are about to witness the most predictable mistaken social experiment in contemporary history as millions of thick cunts are worked into a rage over their privilege being infringed and.....stuff.....by a fat puppet with the functional literacy of a 12 year old born of an alcoholic chain smoking mother who is himself manipulated by a small inbred clique of ultra wealthy that need some cannon fodder in the war on science and logic.
China.....it's all yours from here on in.

Unfortunately Biden seems a bit anonymous at the moment. Trump is basically campaigning against himself, and if we wasn’t such a retard he would be doing a lot better.canta_brian wrote:This will cheer you up I’m sure.

There's pretty much fuck all he can do right now to get a hearing. He's doing a lot of the right things with his youtube stuff etc, but he needs to find ways of amplifying his signal. He could do worse than hiring Buttigeig's digital lead who has some really interesting ideas.Sandydragon wrote:Unfortunately Biden seems a bit anonymous at the moment. Even the Georgia governor condemned the killing. Now, TGPT can still pipe in, but hopefully he has been told to sit this one out.

Nothing like a bit of racist vigilantism. And the local police seemed to have gone out of their way not to follow up on this.gransoporro wrote:Even the Georgia governor condemned the killing. Now, TGPT can still pipe in, but hopefully he has been told to sit this one out.
