Feel sorry for Donaldson but Oz did not deserve to win.

Where does that leave the value of our series win down under? 'On a par with Italy' is not exactly a peak!

It was the Oz second team pretty much and slightly different to playing at home.

It would be great if Capuozzo was English. Obviously there's now way Eddie picks a guy that size, but just think of the glorious outrage we could have about that.

It certainly was, and quite the contrast to our AI matches.

Even if I’m firmly in the ‘anti Eddie’ camp now. This is a BS way of looking at results. You can’t look at games we didn’t play in to create a false narrative. Results this summer and in the Rugby Championship showed that all of the SH sides are capable of beating each other. Australia are way better than a single result.

If you’re going to use this kind of logic, we must have been the world’s number 1 side when we last beat SA (obviously we weren’t).

It’s the beauty of rugby.

Wales woeful against New Zealand beat a side who beat New Zealand

Ben Earl not being in the squad is criminal.

I saw the sarries result. He had a great game I'm assuming. I might have to watch the vod after this game.

It was a great game.
But the relentless screaming at the ref. Just not on

Got to say, whilst the AB back row is very impressive carrying the ball, Scotland are chopping them to bits at the breakdown.

The Ireland one. The Scots blue and yellow numbers push theirs into unintelligible artistic territory.

Is this odious screaming, for a turnover or being awarded a penalty, just a Saracens thing, or are other clubs doing it too?
On the few occasions I've watched Saracens, Earl seems to be the worst culprit and Itoje not far behind.
This will surely filter down to Sunday morning mini rugby and in turn it'll doubtlessly persuade many ageing rugby enthusiasts, like me, to turn away from the game.

Think its becoming more commonplace. The ref told Saracens to shut up eventually. Barnes was copping a lot of chat in last nights game.
Simple remedy: refs warn that the next appeal will result in a penalty. Next one a yellow card. Might be the only way to get the players to belt up.

It is, but personally I still wouldn’t put him ahead of Curry or Willis.

I’d have those two starting with Earl as the impact from the bench.

Or just keep marching them back 10 until it results in a penalty try, then the yellow card. Earl as captain was vocal today, but plenty more voices could be heard. Like you say Barnes was copping it last night.

World rugby and the unions really need to come out in support of the refs. When you these shitty YouTube channels dedicated to showing alleged poor refereeing and the outcries after e.g. Foley's stupidity in the aus v nz game it gets harder for them to do their job and enforce their authority.

Notable in the Scotland match how vulnerable New Zealand looked to a jackalling specialist and also how Scotland somehow managed to survive their lineouts despite only playing two locks at any given time.
