Well, Kirk himself said, "I think it's worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights." I'm sure he'd agree that his murder was an acceptable sacrifice.

Still room for it to be blamed on Democrats or the LGBTQ+ community though. Given Kirk was shot while he was gleefully dodging questions about the entirely spurious conspiracy theory that trans people have a propensity towards shootings, it is a definite worry of mine that an idiot trans kid might've fucked everybody over big-time.

I just hope to all the gods that that kid's cis, straight, and Republican and was killing Kirk because he'd gone against Daddy Trump over the Epstein files.

I don't condone violence, and I believe we should ALWAYS look for peaceful solutions to every problem.

But with what is happening in the world, it is vital that people do stand up and oppose the fascism, the hatred, the bigotry, that people like Kirk were/are figureheads of.

I was trying to explain to my brother in law how, yes, I do not condone Hamas' attack(s) on Israel, but I do understand and have sympathy because of what has been perpetrated against their people for a long time. This feels like something similar to me. Because I do feel somewhat like it's time we stood up, time we started to take our world back from oligarchs, bigots, racists, transphobes, and political elites who only want to feed their power and purses.
