Funny enough, when I saw him, I thought, there's no way that guy isn't Scottish, that's undiluted ginger

Lang looked pretty good when he came on today for Quins. He hasn't had a ton of game time for them, but he'd certainly be a better option at Edinburgh than Tovey, looks to run, maybe not devistating, but a good FH.

Jackson had a pretty typical Jackson game for quins for 55 mins or so today, even put in a big hit, which was rare enough.

Scott scored again, and was unlucky not to get another, in another pretty industrious display. The magic was Marshall rather than him but his instinct and acceleration is still fantastic. Just saying, yo.

Scott will find it hard to break into the starting XV and probably the 23. Our centres have been by and large a very solid partnership (last week aside) and have both been very important in our game.

Dunbar is the defensive leader and has been a rock in defence and the breakdown and Jones has been shown to be important in our attacking patterns. Look at a lot of our tries (some of which he has scored or gave the scoring pass) he is always holding his width which is part of the reason Hogg is having a great time of it in attack. That partnership will only grow as they play together more at Glasgow too.

I don't dispute any of that. I'm a big fan of both. Scott definitely offers something though and will surely take Bennett's place if we want a centre on the bench this weekend. We simply don't have any backs even close to being as incisive running close in to the breakdown. The Jones/Hogg wide channel stuff is great if we are able to get enough space and go forward to make use of it.

Saying that, if Horne displaces Weir he may be considered adequate centre cover.

Christie on in the last 5 for the Chiefs in Melbourne. They're only leading by 3 - good game to close out!

One good tackle, one good recovery of the ball, a few sensible passes and they score another, winning by 13. A decent showing.

I really think Christie needs to be capped on this summer tour as a precautionary measure. Having been born in Scotland and lived there as a child I would assume his parents at Scottish & he's been raised accordingly.

I could be wrong though

Christie is definitely worth keeping an eye on.
