Christ, these shitfucks screaming about the Cannabinoid Boogeyman need to fuck all the way off the nearest cliff. "Oooga booga boo, marijuana is bad for you." Fuck off.

We all know this is just about harsher policing of communities that have the temerity, the nerve and the audacity to be "not white," right? It's racist bullshit, has been and always will be.
Hey, those poor people aren't going to arrest themselves. The number of people who's lives have been fucked up by a minor possession charge is so completely out of whack it's ridiculous. This is just another stick to beat the under served with. Remember Paula Bennett pushing that meth contamination hype so John's Keys could flog off state housing to private investors?
God, fuck Paula Bennett, that fucking ghoul. The way that she's now a "media personality," as if everything that venal shit should be forgiven and forgotten, disgusts me.

I'll need to see if Crosby Textor is still involved with the Tory leadership, because it's right out of their playbook.

I’m not in the business of defending this govt but:

‘On social media it was reported that the deputy PM had said that "poor people are richer than you think" on Radio 4.

In an answer about school meals… Coffey did say that people on universal credit may be earning more than the general public would expect, however the phrase above is not a direct quotation.’

Fair enough - it's a paraphrase rather than a quote - unfortunately the same paraphrase I'd seen bandied about a fair bit (I don't listen to the radio, let alone R4).

Agreed, it’s the speech marks that are the really issue. Quickly diving in to it, it seems she’s saying that during her time heading dwp there were claimants who were earning £35 - £40k on universal credit. No doubt that’s the odd outlier and is the same tactic as all brown people are terrorists, all Brexiteers are racist, all disability claimants are on the fiddle etc… ie bs for 99% of people.
She does deserve quite a bit of credit keeping uc standing upright during the pandemic but seems to be on a mission to flush that credit down the loo.

"oooh they might be having a little more money than you'd expect." Fucking classist drivel and word-for-word the exact odious beneficiary-bashing rhetoric we got down here the last time we had Tory-scum in government. When someone says that shit with a straight face, the appropriate response is to pull their shirt over their heads and deliver an uppercut.

Chance would be a fine thing. Unfortunately we're stuck with the Tories till '25, regardless of the number of leaders they go through.

I knew Truss would be a catastrophe, but you couldn't make this up.

This is record-breaking stuff. Textbooks* will need to be rewritten.

* Including PPE Textbooks, ironically for Truss.

Yup, sorry, should have clarified - conducted on Wednesday.

I was impressed that something commissioned by GBNews found that (and that it was then allowed to be published)

I wasn't being critical just pointing out it could be single figures Conservatives soon.

Say what you like about Liz Truss but she does have a cracking pair of knockers. She could definitely call my general erection.

Sorry about that, I know we can't say that sort of thing anymore, I was having a 1970's flashback.

I missed so many of those things happening. Number 49 in particular was something that might've be top 10 in any other week in Tory.
