I really have made the most of today's sunshine.
It's interesting that we have 3 Scots regularly starting for the best team in Europe yet we don't pick em. I know Hamilton has retired but... Does he still have something to offer? He was very good against the Weeg and word has it he's being offered a 2 year contract with LI after this season which would take him up to the RWC...
That was a joke that they did on the rugby pod. Hamilton is announcing on the next pod where he is going.

5.Marshall Sykes (St Joseph's College / Northampton Saints)
19. Oliver Cattell (Beechen Cliff School / Bath Academy)
20. Drew Davison (Gosforth Academy / Newcastle Falcons)
23. Rory McMichael (Wellington College / London Irish)
24. Jack Hutchison (Sedbergh School / Newcastle Falcons)
25. Jon Searle (Brighton College / Harlequins Academy)

Fraser Strachan, who's playing for England U18 in this game and is in the Northampton Academy, played for Scotland U18 last year, so as the name suggests, he's eligible but clearly deciding on loyalties

To be fair. Taylor hasn't been fit in either of the last two international windows. He was supposed to be fit in the 6N but kept having set backs.

Is it really? Hamilton is putting a lot of time & effort into his Mac & Wild business (restaurant is well worth a try BTW) so I would expect him to stay in London or near enough if possible. I'm not so sure the LI thing is a joke.

Hadn't realised but I think that's (supposedly Scottish qualified) James Lowe playing a big part in that move...

It could be real, it did seem a little close to the bone for Hamilton when Goode was laughing about it, whatever anyone says about Hamilton its clear he feels scottish even if he is coventry born and bred

That game had three of the best trys you're likely to see anywhere anytime.

Lowe was very very good for them, man bun and all.

Evans is retiring at Quins, so there ought to be expanded game time for either Jackson or Lang.

Just thinking

Is Robbie Henshaw patron saint of Wales, if it wasnt for his "intervention" Ireland would probabbly have beaten Wales meaning they only beat Italy, mind u fair play to Gatland, i dont think he gives a fluck what people think of him, why not take 11 welsh, who is going to stop him, its clear no one else wants to hire him so why not give your welsh players a confidence boost before the world cup draw

Would we be shocked if anyone else did this ?

The lions committee keep letting this happen, then nash their teeth about it and then do it again

Can't think of a better place to put it but Piers Francis is included in the England tour squad & will likely be capped. Another monumental Edinburgh screw up to not realise his potential.

How could Edinburgh have prevented it?

An Englishman getting capped for his country? Well that's just awful..

He was dross at Embra, and whilst that may well have been down to the coaching and squad quality around him, fair play to him for going back to NZ and working his way up.

Yup i cant get my head around this transformation as he looked horrible when with us. Good for him though.

Who else in the Edinburgh squad maybe has hidden talents?

For the past 8 games they've all done a sterling job of completely hiding it.

Francis has been excellent at 12. He's been baws at 10 recently.

Off the bench early or starting? If the later then that must be his first start after what, ten sub appearances for Edinburgh?
