Horrendous ball protection come ruck time. That's the third time we've lost it due to a stray leg or boot.

Re: Scotland v Argentina
Somebody please support Hogg when he's running the ball back. Their entire team zone in on him, somebody else needs to take advantage of that.
And spot on about the rucks/fringes.

Are there still Laidlaw supporters on this board?

I'll hold my hand up but he's having a tough day today. Still plenty of time left though.hugh_woatmeigh wrote:Are there still Laidlaw supporters on this board?
Ref is a pain in the arse about scrums.

Nope. He's made his impact already. The guys look like they've given up on the prospect of all their attacking efforts leading to anything, because how can you if 1 of 4 passes is unplayable? It's happened so many times before.

The ruck protection is bad but Laidlaw has been dire.

Back to screaming at the ref for penalties. I despise this.

Watson's nickname from now on should be the pocket battleship. Describes him perfectly.

How long can Hogg get away with this nonsense?

What time does Strictly start?
It was so much easier to blame Them. It was bleakly depressing to think They were Us. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

The pace that Hogg tries to operate and inject into the game is night and day compared to Laidlaw.

How bad are we at re-starts?
Our sevens team used to be diabolical at them until someone sorted it out. Get whoever that coach was on the scene!

This is set up to combine a disappointing performance with a dissapointing loss.

Couldn't be as he's the kicker thus getting the chance to prove how indispensable he is?hugh_woatmeigh wrote:Back to screaming at the ref for penalties. I despise this.
Didn't like his interviews last week either. Lots of theories (& specifics) on where "the team" went wrong tactically. Err, isn't that a reflection of your on field captaincy then?

Watson has been a bright spot. What a turnover.

I'd be tempted to kick this to the corner. Sounds counter productive but we've some momentum in the last 5min and a try kills it.
