Lmao at cheering as if they've won the series after Cru knock on their attacking maul. Lions embarrassing.

This has been much better. There are still the little errors you'd expect from a scratchish side, especially against a settled team.
There are still the basic skills errors too. The bouncing pass that set off that break was just dreadful.

The provincial baabaas would give this Crusaders team problems.

Farrell has put in a couple of very good penalties to their 22.

Should be in red.

The quality of officiating has been poor in all games so far tbh.

Haven't watched that much S15 this year but the Crusaders are rank rotten today. Clock red and they try to run it from their 5m line...?

They just wanted to go in ahead at half time. They chose to kick to the corner instead of taking a very kickable pen a few mins ago. I think they were expecting a few tries.

Tbh, I was too.

Fair bit of ScrumWang from Monsieur Le Referee but the Cru aren't helping with poor skills and odd strategic decisions. Not a great look for Whitelock's captaincy. They need to compose themselves.

Yup. Tonight was a big, big chance for him to show what's he can do and he's been robbed of it. Gutted for him.
Murray is clearly Gatlands inside man.

It's been a fairly typical first half of 2017 Crusaders rugby. It's the second half when they tend to kick into gear (overhauling deficits of 20-7 and 21-5, for example). Plus the ref doesn't seem to like their scrum, for some reason.

Lions have been going about as well as can be expected, but Crusaders have kept it close and have far much more room for improvement. Lions must score first to have a chance.

Honestly, some of the calls he made were just downright bizarre. Moody sent Furlong into orbit, and then got penalised. What the actual fuck?

Probably because he wasn't driving straight

Yep, ref clearly called him for stepping out and coming around.

Dreadful pass.

Gotta stop pissing away chances.

These are the really irritating errors. Problems with the scrum, lineout, defensive line etc. can all be expected for a team who've only been together 10 days. Not being able to throw a pass 6 feet and keep it below head height is unforgivable.
