One year ban sounds about right, which given previous might even be lenient

Aye. Hartley got done there. And well done to him for not clocking Slimani after the second one.

Isn't it time Ludlum was due another game?

Ludlam had glandular fever if I remember correctly, which can knock you out of action for quite a while. Hopefully he'll be back involved soon.

This has gone beyond farce.
Hartley's yellow was utterly ridiculous. In the same game, the wretched TMO let Slimani off the hook with a yellow that should have been red. 2 out of 2 with both calls being the wrong ones. Rather than the disciplinary panel putting things right and ignoring Hartleys offence, while citing Slimani, they have chosen to compound the original errors.
I wish i could say i'm surprised.
Frankly anyone on here could run this joke of a process better than the current lot.

Hartley's case is dismissed, and he's free to play.

Given the IRB aren't likely to ask refs to actually referee rucks as rucks, and flying in missile like does pass for rucking in 2017 it's a fair call. If any level of common sense was observed then Hartley along with a good many others would be in trouble
