Cips is just a delight to watch when Wasps are on the front foot.
Wade really good too. He's improved his defence enormously and seems far more physically robust.
Genge a key player in the Tigers comeback. Great to see him back playing.
Agreed. WLR butchering that chance with 'fancy dan' crap ought to haunt him for years to come.
Willis and Genge are going to be hard not to pick for England.
Sadly not the first time WLR has blown a clear chance

I'd put up with it- he is a brilliant player, and his playmaking is excellent too. And if we are talking about the Robson knock on one, he made that all by himself through 'fancy dan' play.

I'm really beginning to struggle to see the difference between that and the Eastmond hits (let alone Lovobalavu).

Lovobalavu I'm still surprised was even cited, lord knows why he was singled out for such treatment, Eastmond's were easily worse given he'd rather lost the plot, this looks like an error though also rather like shoulder to head from that camera angle.

Eastmond had lost the plot, but that's only clear because he did it twice, but this is a shoulder straight into the face, with force and with no control.

Eastmond also came out of the corner swinging. This doesn't look as brazen, but based on what we've been told it still looks like a red

He got shoved and thrown to the floor by Luamanu, whilst others charged in, we don't know how Malouf would have reacted had the Wasps guys done the same. Though I do agree Eastmond had lost it, and Malouf seemed to just be in error, but losing it doesn't make it a red, the shoulder straight to the head (how that can be called riding up I don't know) with force and no control does.
Meh, we lost it due to running out of fit hookers more than anything I suspect, ah well.

And he's been cited, no surprises there.

No surprises? I've just watched the incident again and don't believe there was any malicious intent to strike the chin. Careless, yes, but deserving of a citing and a possible ban, no.

Based on what Lovobalavu got he should expect a ban of 6-8 weeks

Inclined to agree but had he gone left and passed it was an almost certain try. I love the guy's talent too but had he scored they would have won. That's what will haunt him, I imagine.

It's not like he was the only player to feck up a try scoring opportunity though. Both teams had a bagful of chances which they didn't convert for one reason or another (brilliant last ditch defending aside). Wasps shaded the cockup contest on balance. WLR's a different player to the one that started the season.

I still haven't managed to watch the rest of the game, so the only score I've seen binned so far was Harrison using all his pace to not get near the try line when put in for a score.

There were a few more on each side. Ford picked the wrong pass and threw an intercept rather than the short one that would likely have been a try, Robson dropped a pass with the line begging, Malouf got too flat on a try-scoring pass and dropped it, WLR broke through and mishit a chip and chase rather than pass to his support outside... there's a long list.

There were a number of blown tries- no point in dwelling on that stuff frankly. Think about Scotland v Ireland for truly haunting blown tries!

He was low in confidence, and unrecognisable from the guy who was brilliant for SA about 3 (or maybe more) years ago; he was a bit of genius then.
