That and the enemy AI does some astonishingly stupid things for a game that has a very large stealth element to it. It's not anywhere near the same style of game, and it's probably an unfair thing to do, but for some reason, because I played the Witcher 3 prior to it, I couldn't help but compare the two. It's probably the open world aspect and character dialog stuff, but it really shows it up. Would recommend it if you see it on offer, but don't really think it's worth paying 40 or 50 quid for.
I loved the previous ones, entirely for the stealth stuff (and the blade runner backdrop I suppose) but I couldn't tell if this new one entirely revolves on blasting people's faces off or if that's just the way adverts like to show games off? Is that a question? I don't know.
Scrap that. The story in the first one was stunning. I think, as is the trend, that might be marginalised in favour of combat but that's just a guess. The story do anything worthwhile?
You can stealth the whole game, I'm half way through my ghost run now, it's hard, but fucking satisfying... and mercifully, unlike the last one, they've removed the forced boss fights from it, so if you are a stealth build, you don't need to spend anything on health or other combat perks.
The story isn't bad in this one, if you liked the last one, you'll like this.
Also, it's not so yellow anymore.
