Plenty of that team will play first class rugby, the whole front row that started, plus Leon Brown. Adam Beard in the second row , and Phillips and Keddie in the back row. The 9 looks sharp, both 10s, Jones and McBryde Jnr, and it will be interesting to see how Giles develops. Ive throroughly enjoyed watching the U20s this year its almost like watching a different game.

Absolutely. Very enjoyable evening. WIth some very promising youngsters. Hopefully they win next weekend too and keep together for the World Cup.

Clearly these young lads will need to calm down and learn to play modern Welsh rugby before Gatland will want to have anything to do with them, though. I believe I saw a few offloads - they'll need to cut that out.

To be fair, England were missing a host (12 or so) of players who probably would've made the matchday squad if it wasn't for club commitments. No excuse mind and given that Welsh performance last night, it probably wouldn't have affected the result, although we may have made it a little bit more competitive.

The Welsh U20s look in extremely rude health this year. Some superb players in a number of positions and many look like they're capable of kicking on for possible test caps.

I'm going to have to find this online just to cheer myself up. It'll be on youtube eventually.

Great second half performance. All the talk of Howley succeeding Gatland, Jason Strange has done wonders for his credibility during this tournament.

That guy has huge potential. Good in the scrum, at this level at least, plenty of carries and good hands.

In fairness, there is plenty of potential in that team.

There's also Nicky Thomas to think about at Gloucester, who looked the real deal with the U20s. He has had a bit of game time with Glos, but I'm not sure how he has kicked on. I can't help feeling he would have had more opportunities had he stayed with the O's.

I hope Wales look to take players like him and Dillon on tour during the Lions rather than Jarvis.
