It’s the instinct of a hard carrying 6/8 to run into things rather than around then :)

If he hadn't become a rugby player I think he would've ended up a plasterer driving a Renault Traffic with several half used rolls of scrim on the dash and a few old copies of the Daily Star.

There's still time, especially now there's decent money to be made from plastering and driving.
In the meantime, there are opportunities for his wealth of other talents. :) ( is there no end ? ..)

He can never be accused of lacking self belief. Good on him, even if he’s a massive plonker.

The working title for Hask’s tv show of him cycling the U.K. to his various DJ and comedy sets?

Facebook is of the opinion that I want to see his one-man show:

"A stag do in human form" may be the most apposite way anyone has ever described him.

Apposite, and the best way to ensure I will not watch a single minute.

Like Reagen McNiel said to the astronaut, just before pissing herself in front of party guests in the Exorcist:

"You're going to die up there".

Would love to know who those quotes are from, or, more pertinently, why they would not have them attributed to themselves on the promo poster

I hadn't noticed the lack of attribution.

...would it be too mean to suggest that they're probably Haskell himself?

If it comes anywhere near the backwater that is the north, I’ll be going. I’m imagining David Brent in human form on an unintended voyage of self-flagellation. It could be comedy gold….. but not for the reason Hask thinks it is.

It's in Northampton on November 15th. We shall expect a full report: https://www.ents24.com/uk/tour-dates/james-haskell

It is "anywhere near the backwater that is the north," as you requested. Northern-esque, if you will. More pertinently, it is as far north as it appears The Hask is taking his masterpiece.

Was just walking through Stratford Station and I genuinely shuddered when I saw 'Central Line - Eastbound'.

What a fucking bellend. Either he's genuinely too stupid to realise what this is saying and thinks he's just sharing something for Rememberance Day or he realises exactly what he's saying and is a racist cocksplash. I genuinely don't know which is worse.
