Or play 7s. There's still a way to have a meaningful career without doing this to your body.

Re: Team for France
I'd have taken 3. Down by 5 at the half would be a good result.

+ they wasted 7 mins of the yellow. Could have had a 5 point deficit with France down to 14 for the first 10 of the second half.

Re: Team for France
Stands to reason that the missing man would've been around the ruck so that must be where the space is?

My rule of thumb (in the many international games I've imagined captaining) is that if the 3 pointer changes the state of the game from a 2 score lead to a 1 score you always take that gift.

Not taking 3 at the end of the first is going to cost us here.

Re: Team for France
Well, they deserved to beat us at the WC, so I suppose this is justice. But France barely deserved that. It's the Sean Edwards effect. Winning games that you maybe shouldn't

Re: Team for France
Not taking a quick 3 at the end of the first and having 10 mins against 14 in the second cost us, and some dodgy calls didn't help. But France were fantastic in the fist 20 minsSandydragon wrote:Well that’s fucking annoying. Close but no cigar.

Re: Team for France
Cynical play in the 22 by France and a ref with no bollocks although Wales weren't the smartest either.
