We've been shit in this first half. A couple of nice breaks, but other than that, it's been laboured and littered with errors. For all the pre-match furore about Simpson-Daniel, I don't think he's touched the ball yet.

There's a good example. Short simple pass that managed to be slow, high, and wide of Wilkinson. Lucky that wasn't against a modern-day rush defence or we'd be short one fly-half with the way his ribs were exposed

That is a try and a half. Great turnover, 40m counterattack, JSD nearly replicates his Barbarians score, dummy switch and all, then Wilkinson making the most of his reputation to bamboozle the Kiwis.

Mind, had the TMO got involved, we definitely knocked on in that last ruck.

My biggest and most incisive take away from the game is that the years have been harsh on Mike Tindall.
